I\'m going to squeeze in some last minute sight seeing before I leave NYC on Monday. It\'s a bit earlier than I intended, but not entirely unwelcome.

I\'ve just worked 24 hours straight \'cos one of the servers died at work and had to do a rebuild last night
So.......
As a reward, I\'m going to do sweet fanny adam and just chill and hopefully paint ALL weekend. Ah and eat copious amounts of chocolate and all things equally as good :bouncy: :bouncy:
OOooh...and hopefully my new minis from Reaper will arrive too - that would be the icing on the cake lol lol

Sorry I didn\'t reply earlier - I found out I was on a metered phone line (not mine) and was told to %$X@ off it.
It was that bad (the weather) and still is.
It took nearly 10 hours today to drive from N Cornwall (Boscastle) back to Enfield (N London) (less a couple of hours stoppages) - all in pouring rain.
And now my computer is playing up - cant see any icons and if I try to look at any minis it jumps from page to page!
I think I\'m going to bed!
Florida next year methinks - at least the rain is warm.

Sorry to hear your hols were plagued by bad weather. As a local, all,I can say is that we have been boiling for weeks. It is only you grockles who bring the bad weather down with you!!

If it\'s any comfort to know, today is the busiest day for incoming holidaymakers, first Saturday after the school holidays. Well It has pissed down all day and shows no sign of stopping for at least six weeks (when the kids go back) so perhaps you had a lucky escape?:flip:

Last night I played a gig at the Holiday Inn Jazz & Blues bar in town, it was cool because I got to drink free Heniken beer all night.
Todays a beautiful Sunday so I was inspired to drive into uni to get my CMON fix...aaahhhhhh (blooming home internet isn\'t happening).
Time to go buy some supplies from the local Chinese grocery store.

I\'m getting over the night before...
Just catching up with myself both physically and mentally - but had a nice Chinese last night and played arrers in the pub for the first time in years.

Chilling out is on my agenda. I just received my Reaper Warlord Judas Bloodspire mini so will probably do a bit of painting on him. May watch a Japanese film this afternoon (am into all things Japanese at the mo) and then it\'s off to Reading tonight for my weekly RPG fix, hopefully get in a L5R card game quickly beforehand.
