What are you opinions of the different game modes?

I can't figure out how to make a poll but I'm curious which of the five game modes people like to play. I'm looking for people's reviews of the ones they've played.

I've played all 5 of them and do like them all. Wasn't sure what I would think of the A Storm of Swords one but after playing it just once I can see that this one will be fun. The Winds of Winter with the secret missions I've now played 3 times. It seems swingy as if you happen to get good missions that work with what you happen to have on the table you can win this one pretty quickly. I'd be real interested to hear others thoughts on this scenario.

That's good to hear that they're all good game modes. I've only played A Game of Thrones twice but I've won both times by just sitting on the objectives as the Starks. Get there quick and sit on them. Almost got obliterated the first time but I had enough points in the end.

Looking forward to trying some other game modes.

A Game Of Thrones
I think this is the best game mode. The Objective cards offer interesting random to the game, that can mix up plans and army compositions, but in a good way. For some it might be a bit dull that victory comes usually from being passive (keeping the objectives) than from killing enemy Units. Last round can be quite anticlimactic.
A Clash Of Kings
Solid game mode, interesting strategies.

A Storm Of Swords
This I have some comments on

The game mode lives on the Attacker and Defender cards, which few are extremely powerful. Especially attackers Ballista attack card is such powerful, that anyone playing this game mode should be aware of that card exists before starting the game. It can be is so meta-definingly powerful card, that player must play around it, assuming that that card exists in the game (50% probability for that). While of course in all game modes, player plays better by knowing what cards opponent might have, here it is a bit dull, and forces too much Attacker to play around it (just out of the fear of it being in the game).

The card can be played, and immediately player can make D6+2 damage to an unit AND same damage to all units within 2" of it. Roll a 6, and see Units die if they were half already. And then you get your normal activation. AND, you get to do this all once more on your next turn(s)!

That card effectively forces defender to think, if he wants to engage same enemy with multiple units. Even if it is not in the game. While there might have been a balancing reason to force Defender to thing about this, I hope there would have been other way to do it than this kind of meta-solution.

A Feast For Crows
Solid game mode. Leads just to killing Units. Morale is a tad too important.

The Winds Of Winter
Secret Missions are a bit too random, so while this game mode is OK-ish, it is not something I would play often. It is kind of extra-casual mode. For some it might be a bit dull that victory comes some times from being passive (keeping the objectives for your secret missions) than from killing enemy Units. Last round can be quite anticlimactic, sometimes not, depending on Missions.
