What are you painting now?

too much

I am currently finishing a project that was supposed to be finished late November. It is the crew for my father\'s Empire War Wagon.

I am also working on two goblin \"wolf\" rider conversions, the complications of which are slowing me down.

But I am most excited about my next project. I just won an ebay auction for Azhag the Slaughterer and the High Elf Lord of Dragons, with their mounts of course. With the exception of the War Wagon and one troll I have never painted anything bigger than a knight. I have a feeling these dragons will occupy most of my winter.

I\'m working on a couple female Reaper minis, a Fianna, and two Kelt Centaurs.
Translation: Two to sell and three for me.

Current Projects

I just finally finished Settra for the tomb kings army. It didn\'t meet my standards for posting on this site, but it is up on a certain huge auction site ( I appologize for what could have just been viewed as a shameless and cheesy plug... oh wait it was a shameless and cheesy plug... sorry about that...carry on). Now I\'m on to a Chaos defiler, that I bought to get some bitz for a conversion I\'m planning. If I dig it maybe I\'ll post it. Oh well, guess that\'s my post for this month....

I can relate

I tend to work on multiple models at once. So sometimes I won\'t seem to finish anything for awhile. Then suddenly I have 3 or 4 models ready within a couple of weeks.
Does anyone else do this I wonder? It\'s kind of a habit from my army painting days.

Now back to that mountain of lead...

Peace!

Angela:

I can relate. I have a lot of stuff in various stages of completion:
1. Wizard of Faith, commission, 95% done
2. CMON2, 50% and holding there for weeks
3. Warlords Elven Sorceress, about 75%
4. Two older Reaper fairies, about 30%
5. Egyptian sorceress, 75%
6. Snake to go with the sorceress, 20%
7. Tox the Wizard, 75%
8. Various other pieces, primed with a little skin done, and not much else
9. And a whole box of commission work that just came in from a client (eep!) Thank heavens they are mostly monsters, which paint up faster than stuff with skin.

I\'d say I can relate to the \"nothing finished for a while, then several pieces all at once\" way of getting things done. :D

Now if I had the quality you do to go with the work habits - ooh, that would be cool.:wow:

Oddly enough, My toenails lol

Okay, so not really. I guess I\'m just in an odd mood today.

 Allright! I hear you out there
\"What\'s he mean: \'today\'\"
Very funny! Very funny!! :moon:

Dr. Bob

but not THAT Dr. Bob
I\'m painting one of SJB\'s Forsaken Banes (Dark Age).

I am in the middle of \"the struggle\" which is the phase in the middle of painting the mini when I keep thinking that the paintjob sucks and that this stupid mini will never look good and I should just give up and throw it into the PineSol.

I go through this with almost every mini. Luckily, usually things come together in the end.

I do this also

I do this also. It\'s the easiest way to get things accomplished.

*rolls up sleeves*

I\'m telling you what I\'m painting so as to force myself into painting those things that need painting (if you follow my meaning...)

At this point in time I have a necromunda piece (you know, the faction with the ladies), a Space Marine Apothecary in a kind of Imperial Fists colour scheme, a Space Marine Sergeant (again started as Imperial Fists) and also an old skool Terminator Inquisitor with pointy beard and Power Fist.

That is what I am painting (hopefully).

Ho ho!

Tir-Na-Bor band

I am currently working on my largest group of Confrontation minis yet. I have 15 dwarves of Tir-Na-Bor that I have to have done in 3 weeks. I have them based and half are primed and that is it! I am stuck! **see thread on painters block**;)

I finished Drakon-Sul a few a month ago. I just need to flock his base. Just finished the 2003 Christmas Sophie, a Stone troll, and the Harbinger of justice. I still have to touch up some stuff on the Harbinger. Then I\'ll post some pics. I basicly have 21 miniatures primed and ready to be painted, or are in various stages of painting.

I\'m about to attempt the (nearly) impossible; I\'ve got one my last exam for this semester on monday, then I\'ve got the rest of the week off. So I\'m going to attempt to paint my entire tau army (all 2500 pts of it) in 6 days.

Should be interesting :D

Well......currently I\'m still working on my mini for the Chick Challenge. The closing date was last Monday, but it got extended so I\'m frantically catching up after a disaster yesterday.

Taking a leaf out of Fizl\'s book - I was admiring the paint-job on my CC model last night and then........dropped it  Et voila, model reduced to 3 pieces :( So, in a scene resembling Ground Hog Day, I stuck it together again....so tired now. Must sleep....ZzzzzZZZZzzzzzz

Ooooh..I quoted myself! Anyhoo - it\'s finally finished!!! WOOHOO :bouncy: :bouncy: :flip: :flip:

Nothing.

I am however supposed to be painting a Brettonian army for my local GW, which is due at the end of the month. Incidentally, I have not even begun and instead have avoided my GW. Now it is getting late in the month and I have too much to deal with to try and finish it. C\'est le vie. :flip::bouncy:

I finished my small dragons and might post two of them. I want to put a more elaborate base on one of them. I think I\'ll do some Brettonian archers next but not an entire unit.

BTW, i should be painting a mini for my local mini store, but that mini\'s so ugly :(

well... did you see my plane coming? :bouncy:
