That sent shivers down my spine, Im kind of in the middel of studying Revelation\'s, well trying to enyway. I have read it five times, but not studied it. Good luck with that. And I would like to see those bike ones if enyone\'s got a link.
Jike Ichi; I remember seeing that Wraithlord in your W.I.P forum. Glad to see some paint on it. And your paintings, what paint are you useing? There looking really nice so far.....stu.....

Im currently working on getting a swag of dreadnoughts painted up, Ill get the camera off my sister and get some pictures up here soon.
Also getting some pre heresy armour happening, just playing around rather than any actual army set up of any kind, just butchered a captain sicarius for that, basically carved all the ultramarines detail off, and his head, and fit him with a beakie helm, and now cant find my guitar cable to start on the power feeds.

I use normal acrylic colours for the background, sometimes I add spraypaint. For the detailed stuff I use my Vallejo, Citadel colours. I use them for almost everything I paint.
I tried oil painting, but I don\'t have the nerve to wait for the colour to try and I always get headache from the oil colours!?
@Thunderhawker: lol Yeah I know. But she has some kind of old radio. And it really gave me an old school feeling when making the tape. It was fun!
Thunder, they may end up being chaos, but I was thinking more just good ol\' space marines, but with skeletal horseheads that are lit from inside the armour below.

I was going to use normal SM bodies, because I think that they are easier to customize.
The plan is that they will either be a termie squad, or the command of a templar offshoot army that believe that the bringing on of the apocalypse shall once and forever cleanse the universe of evil; placing the righteous in thier place in bliss. This army would also have the arc of the covenant dread and possibly a Golgothan dread covered in big crosses. Maybe a tank or a drad converted for long range that Ill call the spear of destiny..... all sorts of christian mystery type stuff.

i was thinking more would it be fenced in fuel or water tower, etc. depends on if i can find something that looks like a wheel handle for a control valve. if not i have an OOOOOLD printer component that looks like it might be good for a pump for a rhino/land raider hands-free automatic fueling station. just got to figure out how to fit it inside the fence i worked on last night. GRRRR!
but yeah i can see orcs doing crazy things like eating veggies and turning orange.
while i meant styrofoam peanuts, the thought of using real ones jsut gave me a novel idea for a different terrain. and i have some stale Jim Beam sunflower seeds so i may use them for basing material and see what they look like. just got to figure out how to dry them out and whether i should use them opened or closed.

First: Don\'t know why other people paint women on eldar vehicles, but this wraithlord will be the bodyguard of my farseer. i want to convert the farseer to a woman. So thats the connection to the picture on the lord.
Second: Thx for your tip on the colour scheme, have to try that. I want to colour the carapace on the tyranids from black to scorched brown as highlight.
I think a redbrown on the skin would give a good contrast. Thats kind of different as you mentioned but I guess I make both variants and decide then which looks better.
And since I got the other painting ready last saturday I might go back to my wraithlord and tyranids.
