What GW armies do you think are in dire need of an update? Personally I think Beasts of Chaos need to be done very soon. Does anyone know what armies are going to be updated in the near future?

Dark Eldar is being worked on and is being written by Phil Kelly.
The Inquisition is way down the line. Right at the end of the 5th ed. run of codexes.

Well I can tell you that the Tau are not compatible with 5th edition.:cussing:
Since fifth edition I played several games and 1 tourny. When the best I can do is a minor victory over a 14 yo playing IG, it is time to leave them in the foam, and just paint minis for show, and make terrain for the table.:drunk:

I was doing pretty well with my Tau... then again I was playing a Mechanized list which plays very differently than a regular one. Tau tanks and Crisis Suits sure as hell aren\'t as tough as they used to be in 4e, that\'s for sure. You can\'t hide the suits and the vehicles get hit in combat 3x easier, and hits go against the rear armor. Not cool... keeping things in line with other codices the Tau vehicles should get a pretty hefty points drop. At least the Devilfish should.

Hmmm, as far as 40k goes, I would like to see the Inquisition sooner than later although I know that it\'s not schedules anytime soon. I guess the only way for me to get back into 40k is to see that Codex revamped with new minis along side.
As far as fantasy goes I think Skaven are in dire need of a revamp and as far as I know they are scheduled for early to mid summer.

Mechanized Tau are a real pain in the neck to beat right now...the Hammerhead with that weird obscurement-thing is much too powerful in 5th. Conversely, the Tau\'s big downside is they lack a high-end, highly available tankbuster like the lascannon. I think they\'re OK on the balance at the moment.
Yeah, my brother plays Dark Eldar...things are better in 5th ed, but in 4th ed I don\'t think he managed to win a single game. They need help the most in all of 40k.l.

you know what we call the dark eldar at our lgs?
EMO ELDAR........ seriously, they suck, no one lieks them and the one guy who showed up with them, actually did beat us all with a highly mobile army, the problem is that the miniatures are so damn outdated no one wants to play them. gw wont redo them sooner than inquistion since the other ones make more money. dark eldar jsut dont have the love that the other armies have.
now tomb kings have to get an upgrade by the end of the year, since you cant get some old miniatures anymore from that line so from what i have heard they are the last for 09\'. rock on all.

on a side note...is anyone else dissapointed with the change in the Imperial guard...i was not all that happy with changes to the codex and the price to buy 20 cadians has jumped up to $44. i know its a money rant but now at the same time now it seems like you have to field even more guard to get that extra push. just my opinion.
