I\'m not sure if this is a good idea for a topic. If you mean a painted figure on this forum then that would be plain mean. If the paint job is poor then they already know it by the score they recieved. Ripping them apart again would be wrong in my opinion. If you mean unpainted like a bad sculpt then that is another story. I have an old Troll Slayer that I think is the poorest piece of crap ever sculpted. It looks like his manhood is dangling out from underneath his kilt. I can\'t say I like that.

The first CMON miniatures, especially Freya the Valkyrie. Bad sculpt (I mean BAD!), bad casting.... Just UGH!
The Amazon is nicely sculpted but the cast leaves something to be desired. I have no idea what to do with mine, she\'s got this crusty grainy finish. And NO, paint does NOT cover it! The finished flesh on her looks like I drybrushed it. I\'m thinking of bitching at Borg about it.:flame:

Okay, now that I\'m sure no one\'s mentioned me, I\'m going to say my worst fig is this old chaos troll I have. I may post a pic to see how bad it is.. Painting wise it\'s okay... for a 3 year old ferret. part of it is unpainted, a genestealer arm hangs obviously from his armpit to try and look like another arm, spikes pop out for no apparent reaso.. it\'s just bad.

I\'ll just finish her as best as I can.
I was thinking of scrubbing one of the other ones I have of her like that. So now that you\'ve recommended it, I\'ll do it for sure tomorrow. Thanks!

the worst one I have ever seen has gotta be an old ral partha.,..... now I know some ya are fans of the brand... but believe me this mini takes the cake.... This is guy wielding twin swords wearing what looks to be a tassled moroccan cap and funny half trousers/bloomers.....and a balinese (?) collar....
I found it when I first started painting ... it was in a shop along with a buncha rejects..... okie I know I shouldnt have gone lookin for minis there but but, since it was free I was happy to have something to practice on......
after doing up the clothes and all, I finally came to the flesh arms, legs and all....er..... that was when I realise that the guy\'s face was soooo flat I couldnt tell where his nose ended and eyes began..... a painter who was teachin me stuff then did a few touchups but said that it was a \"sad excuse of a mini\" and taht was the best she could do.....
well... why did I paint it? after doing 15 identical wood elf archers... I didnt mind doing some else.... anything at all!

Camp pirates!
Old Citadel line of pirate-type minis...I think they might have been for role-playing. Tried one but ever since I\'ve been terrified of pirate minis!

GW dwarf rangers
Now, I don\'t mind a nice cartoony mini once in a while, but these guys are horrible. They really are as wide as they are tall, with hands that are 3 times as big as normal, and noses that in some way manage to look bigger than their entire head. Not to mention their over sized, wonky weapons that look like a 3-year old sculpted them.Rangers suck.

Hindsight is 20/20. Consequently, a lot of the old Grenadier (and probably other manufacturers as well) RPG character minis really did not age well. Of course, at the time they didn\'t seem bad at all, but by modern standards they\'re really statically posed, and frequently suffer from extreme \"flatness\" along the mold axis which distorts their poses.
It doesn\'t help that, being molded out of lead, they\'ve all been dropped on their faces at least once and as a result the fair princess has a prizefighter\'s nose.
I also think Confrontation dwarves really suck. Ugly, stumpy, over-sculpted, they\'re just little grotesque Chucky\'s. Flame on...

I\'d have to say that I truly despise Vendel Miniature\'s giant mini. The model isn\'t too bad, but by golly the hair on that thing needs to go. I mean c\'mon here...I GIANT WITH A HUGE BOWL-CUT??? Looks like his head is a giant mushroom. That and the fact his head is hugely out of proportion makes me wanna break this thing.
I know I\'m going to get roasted for this, but I think all of the Eldars look incredibly silly. To me, they look like old-school Star Trek aliens... completely human but with stuff stapled to them to make them look like they are \"different\", but the overall impact is just nonsense.
I know a lot of people like them, so this is just my limited personal preference here.

I mean, the slann-priest looks like he is high on drugs or something!!
(I was desperate to get my lizardmen army up and decided to look at some of the old stuff to complement the new models and to my utter horror! the heroin induced priest made me decide to wait for the new releases...)
