What camera do YOU use?

I use an ageing Canon 20D (Gosh.......3 years old, 2 models out of date!) with the 50mm Compact Macro as recommended by Spacemunkie...that\'s for mini pics....

For day to day shooting, I have a rather luxurious 24mm-105mm f4 L series lens which is just a peach!

Those L series lenses are lovely - I was looking at the 24-70mm f2.8 but couldn\'t warrant that sort of cash on one lens. Stonking quality bit of gear!

Bought a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 to replace my kit lens (great lens for the money - highly recommended) and a Sigma 10-20mm which is an absolute beauty and is almost never off the camera! I\'ve used my old man\'s 10-22mm Canon EF-S, and it\'s as good I reckon (although he thinks differently...).

Also picked up a couple of cheap second hand longer range zooms that I know I won\'t use very often and that\'s me done (until they start to get upgraded!) :)

That\'s going to be my next lens too... I really want to get into landscape photography and this fits the bill nicely (I was tempted by the Tokina 12-24mm but the sigma one has ace reviews and seems too good to not choose).

It\'s a beauty, no doubt. Make sure you test any you buy - Sigma do have quality control issues, but then again the lens is half the price of the Canon. Some have been known to suffer from a very soft right hand side or poor sharpness at the zoom extremes at wide apertures. The Tokina is a good lens too from what I\'ve been told.

Here\'s some taken at around 10mm:

Canon 400D with a borrowed ring flash, and 28-105mm lense with a 25mm extension for macro work.
Normally, there\'s a 17-85mm lense on the camera, and a 70-300mm DO that needs to see some action.
For indoor, a 50mm f1.4 sees occasional use.

i use a nikon d40 with a kickass \'vivitar 2x macro teleconverter\'- as i use a d40, the lenses themselves need auto focus as the camera doesnt have it, so i have to use it on manual with this lens :]- horray- my mum is back from italy later tonight with my camera- look out for new pics!!
