What did YOU get for X-mas?

Nothing mini related unfortunately.
A few board games: Caylus, Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition, Samurai, Gloria Mundi.
Bunch of books, mostly Star Wars (read my first Star Wars novel this year and actually enjoyed it, so adding to the collection), Films of View Askew and more.
Final Fantasy XII
DVDs, Red Dwarf season 5 and 6, Clerks II, some \'Fu and more.
Beer, chocolat and other candy.
Some items for the house.
Picked myself up WoW and like 15 DVDs on Boxing day (had WoW for $9 and DVDs for $4).
Birthday still to come in a couple weeks so we will see what else there is.

I can\'t find FFXII for love or money 
I got a handy mini photo studio!
I didn\'t ask/need anything else really so thats the size of it.
I DID get a new desktop though since even after the annual bankrupting I still had some beans in the jar! HUZZAH! :beer:

That\'s odd, it\'s all over the place here for a variety of prices. Had it for $30 Candian a bunch of places for Boxing day (which I am sure my Wife was upset about as I bet she paid full price for it when purchased as a gift).

I watched two episodes of that on the last day of school - that show is great! Though I don\'t think many other students could appreciate the humour :drunk:

I got a celtic style silver dragon bracelet that is one of the most tacky, ugly peices of old tat I\'ve ever had the misfortune of owning, only a hells angel biker or Rob Zombie could wear it and get away with it on his wrist. Another thing I got was some of those plastic Dungeons and Dragons miniatures... because the person knew I was into miniatures...
Lastly I recieved a can of \'\'addiction\'\' deolderant and a pair of socks that are about five sizes big for me.

My boyfriend gave me Kroq-Gar on his carnosaur! I\'m so excited to paint it... He shall be the culmination of all that I\'ve learned about the art of mini-painting so far. Tragically, though, there was no head in the box. I have a headless lord! :flame: So I have to wait for it to arrive before I can really get started.
OK, well I had a really good year as far as gift recieving. I feel horribly spoilt, but it\'s kinda nice, because with going self employed recently I\'ve not had much chance to spoil myself in the last few months.
I got:
Books to help me code - Web Standards Solutions, Bulletproof Web Design, Flash Math Creativity
Books to entertain - Masters of Doom (Read this in a day and it\'s great. All about id software and their crazy rise to fame), Scott Pilgrim vol 2 & 3
Books to help me write - Graphic Storytelling and Visual Narrative, Elements of Style, 38 Most Common Fiction Writing Mistakes
DVDs - Planet Earth, Suerman Returns, Peep Show (1-3)
Xbox 360 - Viva Pinata
And then I opened the card from my Grandma and Grandad and saw a check in there. \'Hmm, they look to have written this incorrectly... the decimal point makes no sense being there... Holy crap, that\'s not a mistake. That\'s bloody insane!\' was kinda how my brain went when I saw it was for two grand!
Apparently some bonds have cleared for them, so each grandchild got £2000! It\'s going into my savings, but I may skim 10% off and put it towards some new clothes.
Oh, and on Christmas Eve I also saw that I had an email from someone who saw my last website and wants me to do one for them too, so that should mean I have work lined up until the middle of next year. I\'m pretty happy at the moment to be honest!
