Some nice things:

- A tea serving kit, along with some nice teas, and a book on tea ( My mom figured that since I didn\'t drink wine or coffee I might as well be an expert on tea :p)
- A really nice sweater
- Some comics
- An nice dress coat that I can put on when I\'m wearing suits (which, scarily, is becoming more frequent these days).
- A TV for my apartment
- And money to spend for my trip to NYC in February.
- And still waiting on the one from my Girlfriend ... :)

Really happy right now !! :D

Well I finally got to open up the box of Warriors of Chaos minis that I bought about a month ago. Man it sucks when you buy yourself a present with someone else\'s money then have to wait a month to get your grubby mitts on the models :p

I was a bit bummed that I got an Xbox Live subscription card and only one of the many many many amazing games that came out this winter. I wanted to spend my little bit of remaining cash/credit limit on paying the bills, but I might need to give it all to Best Buy instead. Seriously, I can live without my cell phone for a month but I don\'t know what I\'d do without Prince of Persia, Guitar Hero and all the rest :D

Anyway the best thing I got was probably this little thing:

Hehehe :D Big thanks to the gaming group for pitching in for this. I am quite pleased.

No idea what the boyfriend got me yet as the packages haven\'t come even though he sent them from England 3 weeks ago. He is painting me the most wonderful mini though. Got a mini and a ornament from Wiccanpony, a set of 5 pound hand weights and a toaster oven from the ex, a hug and a kiss from the son, a dirty book from work, $200.00 from my Dad, $75.00 in a gift card from the ex mother-in-law as well as a bottle of lotion and a manicure set from another friend.

It\'s all great but the best thing I got was the smile on Roger\'s face as he opened my gifts and the look of joy on Donna\'s face at dinner. All in all it\'s been the best birthday/xmas I\'ve had in years!

Ok, a couple of late presents arrived from my brother-in-law (the only worthy member of the family). He\'s a giant goof. BTW, He\'s some kind of executive with one of the TV stations in LA. Produces something. Not sure what. Never really asked.

If you\'re president elect you have to great all foreign dignitaries as if they are the most important person in the world. Obama is no different.

I got some nifty stuff:

A lovely illustrated book of British birds
A pair of pocket binoculars (for use at the rugby, but handy for looking at birdies and into neighbours\' windows :D)
A nice hip-flask (for the rugby again :D)
An antique wine box (lovely it is, and a very pleasant surprise)
The most recent Pratchett (called Nation. I felt quite emotional realising that it\'s likely one of his last, what with his Alzheimers and all)
Special Beer

I bought my lady\'s lad his first rugby ball as well - he\'s playing in school and enjoying it. Class!

Really? Fukuoka was one of the most Christmasy places I went to. I don\'t normally feel that way, but Fukuoak made me actually smile. Korea isn\'t really Christmasy either. I mean it looks Christmasy. But that is about as far as it goes.
