We had lots of fun opening our gifts and recording it on the web cam for our family to watch on you tube.
(If you\'re really nosy, they\'re here)

My fav gift has to be my full length fleece cloak, so warm, I love it. Despite the LARP jokes I\'ve been getting at work - I still wore it to the Xmas do.

I\'m not buying any minis now till Euro - it\'s going to be tough, but I think I have more than enough in the cupboards upstairs :D

I got a few more things today. 2 of the 3 boxes Roger and his family sent have finally shown up. Got cards, xmas ornaments including a Santa, a cookie tray with Santa on it, some hobbits (oop and wonderful!), 3 christmas cd\'s including a Muppets one I love, some basing material and a W&N series 7 brush just in time to kick DaN\'s ass in a paintoff!

All in all the best of the lot this Christmas. It\'s great when the giver knows what the givee likes. Thanks Sweetie! :bouncy:

Revel in it. :)
You at least have had the experience of knowing what failures parents can be, so you are ahead of the game in some respects.

Unlike Cameras and Computers, kids don\'t come with a manual, and remember this there is a certain satisfaction the first time you change a nappy (diaper) without help and it stays properly on the baby.
5 nieces, 3 nephews, 7 great nieces and yes I\'ve changed nappies on all of them except the youngest one (Kaylna) who\'s in over Edmonton. (Bit far to Babysit)

Congratulations Munkie :D You will come around to the idea, I\'m sure. Apparently kids are \"like having a tiny drunk comedian around all the time\". And the sullen teen years won\'t hit for over a decade yet ;)

I won\'t bore with mundane gifts, but I did get a few \"Flames of War\" minis :) (2.5x life size, these aren\'t my paint jobs)

Congrats Spacemunkie! :)

Is it too late to do my list? Ach, who cares! I wasn\'t around on the day. In no particular order, I got:

A wacom bamboo graphics tablet (I\'m in love!)
A haircut (Mum strong-armed me into a hairdressers)
Choccies
Twilight Watch by Sergei Wotzit
Nation by Terry Pratchett (I\'m halfway through and loving it)
Intimacy and Silent Alarm by Bloc Party
Rail tickets to Paris (I\'ve been saying for ages that James and I should meet in Paris, so he took the initiative. Bless!)
Funky lil Paperblanks address book
Two rather nice bags from James\' Mum- apparently she couldn\'t decide which colour was best so she got both.
Enough butter to last me for months (long story....)
and last but very much not least....
.....I got to spend lots of time with my family and my boyfriend in Germany. :D The best part was when I installed my new tablet on my laptop, had a little play with it and then had a ridiculously cozy time on the sofa showing Mum, Sian and James how to use it. Mum was riveted! And picked it up surprisingly quickly, given she\'s rather technophobic.

Edit: Also, my sister asked me to be her bridesmaid when she gets married (which won\'t be for at least three years, but still). I\'m honoured, I\'ve never been a bridesmaid before. I\'ve told Sian that she has to find me the most ruffly fuschia-pink mini-skirted dress for me to wear! lol At least I\'ve got plenty of time to slim into it!

£300 worth of sleeping bag arrived today, and it\'s flipping fantastic.
Tundra -30 Pure and dry, got it out and lofted and it\'s over a foot thick.

Stripped down to my kegs and tried it out, now my room is usually around 9-12celcius as we don\'t use the heating and I had to get out of this after 30seconds as I just started to boil.

Peace and love...

P.S. congrats Scott! (Or should it be commiserations! ;) )
