What do people like?

I\'m going to paint up some tau for sale, and I really have no idea how to paint them in order to get some takers.

Do people like the straight up GW paint schemes? Or should I try and do something a little more unique?

I\'m sure I could do some pretty badass stuff with a paint scheme of my own creation, but I\'m worried that nobody will buy them if they aren\'t a scheme that matches their armies.

Any suggestions (or requests ;))?

Well, obviously try and do something that more people would like. But with Tau, it seems greens, reds, black, and blue are pretty common.

Safest bet is that ubiquitous sandy colour. If your feeling brave go badass, iv\'e no doubt people would buy them if they just look awesome as people love to colect too :)

If you planning on eBaying individual minis or units then it\'s safest to go with \"GW approved\" paint schemes, many of those GW types will find it easier to fit them into what they might have. If your painting an army for sale then feel freeier to deviate. That\'s my opinion and limited experience anyway.

There\'s a nice painting scheme on the GW UK website by bruno or something like that , however to answer your Question you will get more bidders with the GW colour scheme, but you only need 2 bidders that like what you have done, to get a good price :D Your call, what were you thinking of painting? i.e. which Tau mini\'s?
