What do people make of the new GW Giant model?

It\'s a bit rubbish really.... for the size they could and should have done a lot more to be honest. Is it plastic then?

Just compare the detail on any Rackham figure to this - it\'s woefully lacking in my opinion!

Well, it comes with a vast array of bits, so the amount of detail is really up to the individual

From a converters point of view, I like the fact it hasn\'t got lots of detail \'hard-wired\' onto th model.

I like him a lot better than all the previous, honestly. The dead cow is a bonus!

love it, IMO waaaay better than the previous one. that being said old marauder giant is still being my favourite (maybe because it was first gian model I saw ).

I\'m not digging it either. Like others have said, something wrong with the shoulder, chest, gut area. Either make him skinny or make him muscular. A tall girly shouldered ogre isnt cool.

The bits it comes with are amazing though. Too bad it doesnt come with different torso\'s. Seems GW took a chance and wont sell half as many as they could have.

ugly. bits can only carry a mini so far. the whole....body is just lame. i like the changes between the different versions, but thats about all i like. they couldve stuck with the different giant body type - but done it much better and it wouldve worked. besides - who wants the largest model in their army to be hideously ugly. the FW one is waaaay cooler. they shoulve just made plastics out of it.

I like it. I cant see how you can call it \'cartoony\' compared to the current GW giant...

If anything, I think that paintjob in particular makes it look a lot more cartoony than it is.

I looked over the new kit in a GW store. Awesome!! Great bitz included. I think it is a huge improvement and a treasure trove for conversion guys.
