I am an engineer on a road project. Generally I push enough paper to build the bridge out of instead of concrete & steel. But the State has to have certifications for everything, therefore as long as there are roads, I have job security.

I am trying to get a phone/computer cabling company off the ground. Wife works for an architect and I get a few of his office remodels.

I am a freelance artist... that\'s to say I\'m an unemployed art student. I wish I had a job, but in an area if you don\'t speak Spainish, I\'m usually not even considered.. :(

I am a professional video game designer.

I have been in the industry for about 9 years. The first three I spent in quality assurance, half of that as a department manager, then shifted over to design. My first game was for the PC, but since then I have worked exclusively on console titles.

I am currently devising ideas for a next generation console game, but cannot say more than that about it... ;)

This was covered a couple of months ago in another thread, but I am to darn lazy to go find it right now, will let Finn do that :D

I am a state licensed child care provider! Long days, Under paid, Rude nasty parents! Best job in the world, I am shaping little minds, (insert wicked laugh) Acually it is a great job with lots of satisfaction, I get to be home everyday with my kids.

I deal with little tiny people every day, and my hobby is painting more little tiny people... ??? I think there is something wrong with that!

I am a professional shirker, procrastinator, layabout, and hippie. In my spare time, I\'m a high school student, although the two really go hand in hand.

Well, right now I can\'t really decide if I want to continue with my university studies or if I should work and be able to buy, paint and sell more minis on my way to painter superstardom (yeah that\'ll happen lol).

But I do some translating work on a freelance basis as well...anyone needs something translated into swedish? ;)

I am a professional shirker, procrastinator, layabout, and dosser. In my spare time, I\'m a Research Fellow in a marine ecology lab, although I know nothing about whales, dolphins or fish, I do know quite a bit about mud.

Hey! We\'ve got a fair bit in common, except for that dosser part. What\'s a dosser, and is it anything like a hippie? ;)

What I do...

Well, I was a stay-at-home mom full time (which means I was a full-time maid, cook, laundress, groundskeeper, babysitter, and dishwasher, with no pay :(). Now since my daughter\'s turned two, I decided I need to get out more.

A friend of mine owns a comic book store in the local mall and offered me a part-time job working for store credit. The best part is that he\'s decided to start ordering minis! So as soon as the orders come in, I can grab the minis I want and not have to pay any $$ out of pocket! My leftover credit goes to keeping my husband from blowing his paycheck on Magic: the Gathering cards:flame:

So basically, I work at a place that pays me in minis. What could be better?!

A dosser is someone who doesn\'t do anything constructive, just sits about not acheiving much. I guess some people would argue thats exactly what a hippy is, especially if they\'ve been at the wacky baccy :D

Yeah, so dossers are basically hippies without a cause? I mean, not that hippies these days really have a cause. Ahhh...for the good old days of protests, and a noble ethos of pot smoking, peace and smoking pot.

I\'m a freelance \'piuter technician and own 50% of a computer store.

This mean that I spend 50% of my time yelling at the suppliers and the other 50% fighting with viruses and people that delete important system files ;)
