shameless promotion...

of my other hobby, so just pass it by if you\'re not interested, but...

For you avid readers out there, I make beaded bookmarks, they are unique little thong style bookmarks. They are called wedgies. Click hereto see my website.

It is a very small site because I am using free space from my IP, and I am just learning to write this stuff. I eventually hope to be able to include thumbnails and sell directly from the site, but for now, it just has info about ordering, and a few other things.:D:innocent:

Hey!!!

Why don\'t you make wedgies for mini painters? There must be a million and one things you could use, SM helmets, Orcs heads, Icons, etc. If they were viable enough, you might even be able to sell them through the CMON shop?
You would have to be careful about IP infringement however, if you were gonna sell them commercially.

...although I have tried a number of times - have never managed to get past the first chapter of Ghormanghast (started to think suicide was a viable option):D
Granted, it does start off slowly..then gets slower...that\'s half it\'s charm;) There are also a couple of moments when you are fooled into thinking that something resembling a plot may be emerging:D.
It\'s still the best book in the world IMO:bouncy:

So admittedly I don\'t read the forums enough, but I saw Finn\'s post on Gormenghast and have to agree with him cuz the book is awesome. Gripping scenes aplenty.
I\'m surprised to see that no one has mentioned Gene Wolfe and his excellent series \"The Book Of The New Sun.\" They are truely amazing.

To Valander..... Right now my light reading is \"The Fundamental Theorem Of Algebra\" by Fine and Rosenberger.... I feel your pain. :)

It\'s not very cost effective, but I am looking into it.
Not too worried about IP stuff, as long as I give full credit to gw for the \"charms\" They shouldn\'t have a problem with it.???:D

My favorite author is Robert E. Howard - I enjoy equally the Conan, Kull, Bran Mak Morn, and Cormac Mac Art stories. I also like the old Conan knock-off series by John Jakes (Brak) and Gardner Fox (Kyrik, Kothar). More recent authors I enjoy are David Gemmell, George R.R. Martin, and Bernard Cornwell seems to write some nice semi-historical fiction. The original Elric stories by Michael Moorcock were also very good.

Books! What manner of insanity is this! All your tainted possessions will now be burned along with your blasphemous books while you are sent to a deep dungeon far away from us!:flip::bouncy:

Just as an aside I went to the bookstore today and picked up some Dumas, Doyle, Shelly, O\'Rourke, and Mellville. Looks like I\'m back on a classics kick again - except for the O\'Rourke of course. :D
