I think the comments you have recived on it show the area\'s needing work. It is a very good start. I think you may need to thin your paints some more and the stripe on his tabard needs some tidying up. Hope this helps. Good luck with the comp.

i like what you were going for, and a few things worked out very nicely (the feathers, and face in particular).
one tip at a time: i find that if you do the freehand line with black first (or white, if its light on black, then paint your color on to that stripe it looks a little more crisp. i guess it reall comes down to contrast - hilight the high points in the cloth on the freehand as well - so the feeling of deapth carries through. good work, keep at it.
