the nice muted natural tones work well with this piece
the ground work needs someting adding just to break it up a bit, some seedlings sprouting up etc.
the base also seems too large, their is a lot of unused space towards the sides of the models as well as the height of the base being roughly twice the height of the figures.
it\'s some of the things i used to do until i was told about Sheperd Paine diorama book.
amazon sell it at usualy a good price, in the words of rob, adrian, jeff and a few others who gave me a lot of advice last year \"it\'s the modellers bible\"

hope i don\'t sound too harsh as it\'s a nice little piece you have their, but with the same words of advice that were given to me, with a little work it can be so much more.
hope this heps.
