What else can I do with this base?

Hi there. I\'ve finished painting these models here, and I\'m trying to figure out what else to do with the bases.

Does anyone have suggestions of what basing would look good with the color scheme or what I should add to the moon grey?

hmmm, hows about bits of barbed wire/ battlefield debris/ spent ammo cases etc? Would work well with the colourscheme and with a bit of thought no two would have to be the same!

There are a MILLION things you could do lol

Do you have a theme for your army?
Or are they meant to be used on a specific board?

Just add some random details to a few in each squad - maybe a patch of weeds or a larger piece of rubble.

It doesn\'t take much to individualise them

IMO, bases can sometimes become too busy. There are times that what you already have there is enough. I like the way they look now.

i like the way they look now too. but you could still add some small things without them getting crowded. maybe a spent shell case here, a little bit of barbed wire there... but don\'t go overboard. as shawn said, you don\'t wany it to be busy

I do kind of like the idea of having just random battlefield debre. And I deffinately would keep it fairly limited on the bases.

My theme for the army is pretty basic. They are a company stationed on a lunar planet with little or no reinforcements/supplies. What they carry is what they have. If you notice, both guys have rucksacks on their back. I have the whole army with those, I think it does a lot for the models.

I\'m thinking maybe have a ammo case here, or a string of barbed wire there. Does anyone have any pics of their stuff or other peoples bases that they thought looked pretty good?

What do you think of enemy pieces on bases? I\'ve seen some armies based with stuff like tau drones crashed, and chaos heads.
