Does anybody remember good \'ol Chrispy?
What\'s he doing these days? I remember back in the good old days Chrispy was posting in the forums at least ten times a day or maybe more. I haven\'t seen him \'round for ages.

What about Jennifer Haley? Her Rags to Riches story (so to speak) is so inspirational. It\'s all here on CMON. She went from being an average mini painter to a mini painting god in around a year. It\'s amazing looking at how each time she posted her minis looked better and better.

I miss seeing her latest posts.

How about Bobby Wong? Where are you Bobby? You\'re my mini painting hero.

I guess it\'s true. First impressions really do last. When I got into this hobby it was Bobby W and Jennifer H that drew me towards it. I truly miss your latest posts and insightful comments.

Okay. I\'ve got that off my chest. I\'m in a little bit of a nostalgic mood this afternoon. My boss has given me the afternoon off so I thought why not post this thread. Hang on I should be painting...

Are there any other mini-painters out there that you miss or would like to see more posted pics from? If so please discuss it here on this thread.

Thanks for all the minis!!!

I don\'t care about how old anyone is in regard to this hobby.
I know at least one painter who\'s 60+ and still enjoys painting Napoleonic cavalrymen.

I\'m 50 in January and still feel like an 18 year old. (Can never catch one thought) lol

there\'s a guy on one miniatures forum I moderate who\'s just turned 78!!

What about Craig Clarke, with the Pink Panther\'s Chapter of Space Marines and who did a couple of CD magazines? I know he pissed some peeps off but is he still painting?

A hobby for all ages.

I don\'t know if age has much to do with it. I\'m getting close to thirty and still feel young at heart.

Maybe life just got in the way.

It\'s funny how life can get in the way of our dreams. (A little off the topic I admit).

Work, family, friends, study, etc, etc. Thats probably all it is. I\'m sure those guys still lick their chops when a really cool miniature is just released and think I\'d really love to paint that.

If anything, this is a hobby and art that you grow into not grow out of unless of course you just plain lose interest in painting miniatures. It happens.

Well, enough ponderings for today.

Happiness to all!

Brushes, paints, glues, files, clippers, epoxy putty, knifes...
