What happened to Pro Create?

I\'ve been doing a lot of sculpting with Pro Create for Armorcast and they are casting those pieces in pewter (lots of cool stuff coming up!!). The vulcanizing process to make a mold for casting in pewter puts the piece under about 1000 psi at 35O F. Lately the guys at AC have been saying that the stuff made with Procreate have been sticking in the mold\'s - to the point of tearing the model - when it\'s taken out. Apparently it\'s VERY stuck to the mold.
They have heard from other mini companies that they are having the same result/problem. Being that it\'s a long weekend they haven\'t been able to get a hold of Pro Create yet.



Anyone have any wisdom on this problem?

I haven\'t had any problems casting figures using pro-create, but I have heard others talk about problems similar to those you mention. I\'m not sure what\'s behind it all; some people seem to have issues, others don\'t. I think if you make sure the putty is fresh, well mixed, and in the correct proportions, it should be ok. But who knows! If you don\'t want to take the risk, jsut use the good ol\' green - pro-create is not THAT different, after all. I usually mix with some milliput, anyway, and they handle pretty much the same way when I do that.
