Well Chezzer it\'s nice to have you back :D

My computer died a week or so ago but I managed to replace all the parts I needed to. I plain old refuse to get a new package which has Vista preloaded so trying to find workarounds for my old Dell only XP instalation disks has been fun.... NOT!

Well, considering the S and the E are close on the keyboard I may have accidentally hit the wrong key. I guess we\'ll never know but I think it\'s clear now. Thanks for all the thoughts, people, I was having withdrawal from CMON, although my chess game has improved a bit.

Considering I was going from windows98, Vista doesn\'t seem so bad, and it should get better as time goes on.

Hmm, yeah, pics, well now I\'m back online I can buy the camera.

A network service is trying to access a file on your computer. You need administrative rights to continue. Do you wish to continue?

:cussing: VISTA!!!!!!!!

98 to Vista has many more confirmation screens to deal with. every action requires your signature in triplicate mailed to the head office 6 weeks in advance of when you want to take that action from your computer. then it must be approved and mailed back to make sure you don\'t want to change anything on it, and returned no later than one week prior to performing the action with a Vista computer.

Aye, I\'m beginning to notice that. Also I still have the issue of not being able to get Windows Mail to access my e-mail account. Something about a 815 error. The thing is, I have just now had that error when clicking on a link in queenofheunifrogs\' website for her fantasy art gallery. Once they change my username to the correct spelling I\'ll try and get this sorted out. Mostly, though, the new \'puter is behaving better than the old one.

I\'ve been making copies of some pics for my mum and her brownies and the copies are turning out larger than the original. I can\'t see why that would be unless it\'s another Vista thing.
