No.. I think it was removed because it went somewhat downhill after a guy came with some rather provocative statements. I don\'t know what happened then as I went to bed. Maybe it went on toward personal attacks?

Maybe posts could be editted and not entire threads removed? causes a lot of confusion.. + that I think that this specific thread had a really good discussion prior to the debate that probably got it removed. What do you think?

US in Iraq is a touchy subject... so depending on where the post was headed, it could get ugly...

I agree with AV, threads shouldn\'t be removed, but maybe the posts that violate should and get a warning...

I never joined the discussion, as I think the subject is way out of hand...

No no, unfortunately it is a very tender topic to discuss. I suppose we all should be thankful we can safely discuss such matters, even if it gets a bit heated.

That particular thread was just degenerating past the point of repair.
