This is the rag-tag band of GD entries, all of which got Finalist pins. I know the pictures suck but ho-hum thats the way it goes

How did you do the blood effect? It looks really realistic and is one of my favorite parts of the duel+diorama

Blood splatter (Thanks to Nigel/Talonicus) is pretty easy. Just get a bristle off a house hold brush, dip it in a mix of Tamiya clear red and black (tamiya clear smoke works too) so you get a little droplet. Leave it to dry overnight. Then dip it in more TCR (neat) and leave it to dry, repeat untill you have the correct sized drip.

I had mine taped to the front of my bookshelf drying. I did a batch of about 30 or so and I have the spares in a film canister.

That is such badassedness!

This is why dioramas are the be all, end all of this hobby.....

Oh, and so I don\'t forget... I love the diorama! Great atmosphere! I\'m puzzled by the guy on the side of the stairs, though.

I love the duel piece as well! Lovely groundwork on that and the action is dynamic and exciting.

The solo fig seems nice, but I don\'t really like the model, so it\'s hard to get excited by it.

Thanks for the theme music, I should have had it playing via a mini speaker in the plinth

The guy on the side has always sparked a lot of debate, he\'s there to demonstrate that the termies are at risk. He\'s armed with a terminator busting weapon. He would have been levered off in hind-sight because he\'s extraneous to purpose.

Never mind.

The single guy is off onto ebay this weekend...
