aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhh
There IS a Santa and I\'ve met him. Here\'s the story;
When Alex was about 4 we were broke (as usual) and he wanted this expensive Batmobile. It was the first time he had ever asked for anything for Christmas and I had hoped he would forget about it and be happy with what we could afford but for weeks he went on and on telling us he was going to get this Batmobile for Christmas and we didn\'t have to worry Santa was going to bring it.
Finally we went to this mall. I used to work in it but had moved so it was way out of the way but we made the trip anyway. There was the normal store Santa in the middle of the mall but Alex said, \"that\'s not the real Santa. That\'s a helper. \"
I asked, \"How do you know?\"
\"because THAT\'S Santa,\" Alex replied, pointing behind me.
Sure enough there was this short, white haired, bearded old man in black trousers, a white shirt and red suspenders coming out of a candy store. I swear he was the real Santa.
Alex looked at him and started to move forward. The man looked at me and I nodded. Alex went and had a very quiet talk with him and then smiled and came back to me. \"Santa says it\'s going to be ok. I\'ll get my Batmobile.\" Alex started forward and I looked at the man kind of helpless like. He grabbed my hand and shook it at the last second and dashed away. When I opened my palm there was $50.00 in it. I looked up to protest but the man was nowhere to be seen.
Needless to say Alex got his Batmobile and we got a good Christmas eve dinner too. That is my best Christmas memory and if anyone says there\'s no Santa they are lying!
