What is the Etiquette?

That is the Etiquette on posting minis here before they are officially \"active\" on the site? Or if there is any problem with a post getting veiws/votes before it\'s active?

Of course it\'s because I\'m eager to show off a recent post and get feedback on some new-for-me experiments without having to wait

I love posting images in the forums.Get some great feedback prior to posting them in the voting gallery,chance to change things and tweak a bit.
Or totally ignore.

Yeah, I wish I had posted for feeback before putting it up, I got some great ideas of how to improve the mini in question and photography that I wish I had done before making it official.

Also it seems votes from the forum are blissfully devoid of sniping! The mini was going along nicely then the first vote after going active was a snipe, more than anything it made me laugh and appreciate the honesty & trust with those who regular these forums.

Being at the position you are in the rankings I reckon you are slap bang in the middle of the firing range.
Pay attention to comments and what your peers have to say,not so much on overall score.

oh, I\'m not worried, it makes me laugh more than anything, and at the worst the mild annoyance convinces me to push to paint better next time, and use it as motivation! That\'ll show them

I do very much appreciate the comments here however, just this morning I have gotten a number of ideas to improve I had not thought of on my own.
