What is the least chalky bright yellow paint on the market?

I read in another thread that Vallejo Model Color Ivory is the least chalky pure white acrylic being sold, does anyone know the equivalent in yellow? I'm trying to make my highlighting a little bit easier.

Another question kind of related - how do Golden acrylic paints compare with the usual hobby brands? They're regarded as the best available by folks in the art business but few miniature painters seem to use them.

I like the P3 yellows - Heartfire, Sulphur Yellow, Mold Ochre, and Cygnar Yellow (?).

i mix yellow ink in the paint, or glaze ink on surfaces blended or painted white first. the pigment in ink are much stronger than in paint. yellow paint on black primed surfaces usually suck, better to basecoat white first in that case. guess that doesn't answer your question though, hrrm

I've found P3 Cygnus Yellow and Reaper HD Pale Saffron to be very vibrant and smooth yellows. If you want to combat chalkiness in general, adding a little flow improver when you thin paint will help, somewhere between 20%-40% flow improver in a water mix can make a huge difference in how the paint reacts. Liquitex makes a good one named flow-aid but most companies will have a version, just make sure to check out the toxicity as some of them can be pretty bad.

If you want really bright colors, Dr Martin's ink is excellent. It has the highest pigment concentration and brightest colors of anything on the market. It is like Badger's ghost tints on steroids, but without the shine. (I have both)
