hmmmm <scratches head> I dunno what the worse thing is he\'d expect me to do with him. Or for him . . . I don\'t really know if there IS anything. <shrugs>
@ Avelorn: yeah i am pretty lucky. I really can\'t complain other than the fact i CAN\'T STAND GREY\'S ANATOMY. There is no one even remotely redeeming in the show.
I mean she supports my painting, buys me paints, buys me minis. In our house that we are building, we are having a studio room for painting, working on computers and general stuff like that.
I also do most of the cooking but that is because she can\'t really cook. But she helps by chopping up the vegetables.

I get irritated because I am expected to handle, from start to finish, anything that enters or exits our home via the mailbox. I am solely responsible for the keeping and reminding of appointments, birthdays, and various other obligations. After nearly 11 years of marriage he is now starting to learn how to navigate the grocery store, though he doesn\'t go without a very good explanation of why I cannot. I am expected to have cosmic knowledge of all of his debit card purchases.
On the flip side, I expect him to clean the cat litter (an agreement we made when he decided to let our daughter have the cat) and dispose of spoiled food from the fridge. If I do it, I will :|~. I expect him to pick up his enormous dog\'s enormous poo, and to help with the housework.
All in all, including the things that aren\'t mentioned here, I think we\'re even.

I\'m sorry Liz, Wen and Donna, I thought we were talking of local partners, which I don\'t have any of.
Tidying up.
I am by nature a \"somewhat\" (*)untidy painter/worker and generally have everything I need for a project immediately to hand.
Trouble is I don\'t always remember to put stuff away at the end.

I am lucky in that I don\'t think she expects anything of me...but she does some things that wind me up a bit.
I tend to shower in the morning and she at night but when she finishes with the towels she never hangs them up so I always have a cold damp towel to use in the morning.
We normally take it in turns to cook but when she chops up vegetables it is like she used a chainsaw for it and there are bits of carrot skin all over the kitchen even in the washed up dishes in the dish rack.
She ain\'t too good at putting things in the bin either. The bags don\'t fit our bin so well so you actually have to make the effort to get the rubbish in the bag not just in the bin itself and since I put the bin bags out...I have to clean up the scummy muck from the bottom of the bin.
But she will say one of my minis looks good even if it sucks so I can\'t hold those things against her.
