Mmmm the smell of the Brains Brewery at 8 in the morning, the black ink in a 2000ad collected edition (I know that\'s a bit specific but..) and the smell of petrol.
If you mean that yeast smell I hate it :|~ it always reminds me of school dinners :|~:|~

Smells like gingerbread 2 me. My sense of smell is pretty bad mind, I like odd things.

If I could I would trap it in a jar and have it by the side of my bed. It was the thing I used to look forward 2 most about being a posty.

I like the way the Rackham magazine Cry Havoc smells. The pages have a very attractive smell to them.

Ah, these best/favorite threads are my favorite! (I guess someone needs to start a favorite thread thread! :D)

old books

art stores

pack of trading cards

citadel inks

oil paint

and probably the best one: the smell of movie theater popcorn just before it starts to pop in the machine (I used to work in a cinema and on the days I got to open concession were glorious, because there weren\'t any other smells to taint that one) :D

Easily the happiest time of my life was the 5 years when we lived in a rural part of the county (not too far from where Hitchcock filmed The Birds) Thus some of my favorite smells are a bit earthy. Gravenstien apples, rotting apples, cow manure, a particular type of bush that grows around here - The smell of a tall type of weed that looking back is a scary/fond memory. Me and my brother were playing in this thicket and these weeds were there. We got absolutely mobbed by bees. I ran down the hill screaming feeling the bees crawling through my hair stinging me......strange the things that have a certain special place in our memories.

Acrylic paint (Coaties are the best)

Lunchboxes, just opened (reminds me of being a small kid)

Hops (the brewery in town pumps the smell out most days  )

Freshly roasted coffee (and I mean fresh, as I was doing the roasting) sealed up for a day then opened. The aroma is everything from toast to cherry and almond. Incredible.

Ale that has had the sun shine on it for 5mins in summer, releasing all the character.

Rain on a cold day.

There are other smells I like but for fear of banning I\'ll keep them under my hat lol

The smell of some spicyhot chicken wings from the anchor bar... makes your mouth water, followed by some tears

My favorite smell is quite difficult to explain. It\'s the smell of my grandmothers kitchen! The associations with this smell are so rich and beautiful, I just can\'t explain. As I kid I loved to be with my grandmother in the kitchen, so I guess it\'s all some sort of a \"pawlow reflex\". :D

Pictish Mini Painting

I'm actually a man!
My fave smells:

My GF\'s hair.

Good coffeee

Good Cigar

Paper money (that i can keep!!)

The smell of my garden on a cool summer day when i can just sit and relax on my own.

My pillow with fresh linen on it.
