What is your favorite mini, and why?

The Christmas Pudding is good, but a bit regional.
I\'ve never seen a real Christmas pudding, so I can\'t judge how accurate it is.
I *have* seen Sponge Bob, Barbie and Mickey Mouse. For a more cross-the-pond kind of reference just now getting big in the USA I wait for moonwhim to do a Bob the Builder tech marine.
Or teletuby marine?

And the great thing is moonwhim is getting better!
Check out the Sponge Bob marine and the Micky Mouse terminator marine:

I agree that Barbie is not Moonwhim\'s best work, but I think it was the first one I encountered & that\'s why it made such a lasting impression.:D

And by the way, \"Revenge of the Christmas Pudding\" would definately make my top ten. And so would some of your CMON contest entries, Vince :D

Dam, too many to list.
But these are the ones that are really memorable to me:
(in no perticular order)

Another vote for Dirk Stiller\'s Griffon Rescue.

Celinor By fuzzicato
I just bugged out when I 1st saw this. A true vision of an elf to me. Beautiful freehand, with rich greens and an equally beautiful base.

Haley\'s Ral partha high elf general
I\'ve always loved Chris Fitzpatrick stuff. And coupled with Haley\'s work, it\'s 1 of my most memorable one.

Bard of Alahan By nebuchadnezzar
This one just struck me at the time cause from then,Haley\'s alahan bardwas my favorite sculpt and rendition from her with all those swirls and glossy effects.
But I thought this one was just a tad better cause the color choices were better.

Harbringer of Bast By Bird
Another great fusion of sculpt and paint job. I always thought the wargods lines were a great fresh of style.

Sebeki Champion By EricRoof
One of those never released, \"I want one!\" minis. Nice and dirty style sculpt and paint job. Too bad it\'s too zoomed out.
Oh, and his brother here.

Limited Christmas Mini 2002 By Amber
One of those WOW! Simple, but so beautiful.....

Celtos woman 2 By Cortex
One of the best from early 2002.

Waywatcher by Masquerade-Miniatures By Brushguy
One of the best freehand and tatoo works back from 2002.

Lucrezzia Belladonna By Qiao-Zhong
My 1st time seeing this miniature and the most memorable. I think now, Haley\'s might be better, but this was the 1st one that really opened my eyes to bright smooth paintjobs.

I know. I posted enough already.
But I can\'t help myself.
:p

Midori By keshley
The best Midori I\'ve seen yet. And one of the ones I\'ve always wanted to imitate cause of the freehand and pretty base trimmings.

He-Man Repost By Tuffskull
One of the resent ones I\'ve found that puts a smile on my face.
Great idea, and very talented paint job. Besides the porportions being a bit off, it\'s still great.

I think I just ran across something I like maybe, possibly even better than the Wine Glass Fairy. Space Hulk was one of my original favorites, and Vincegamer went way overboard on the coolness here. For what it ended up costing I wouldn\'t have bought the Fairy, but I\'d seriously consider shelling out for this.

Tough choice!

While I admire minis with a lot of intricate detail, I really love a simple perfectly blended mini with beautiful color choices. Microscopic detail requires technique, simplicity requires art.

The best example I\'ve seen would be cyril\'s amazon.

But anything from cyril, arjay, bragon, haley, SJB, or anybody in my favorites could be my favorite of the moment.

By the way, does anybody else find 20 favorites impossibly low? There are so many great artists on this site that picking 20 minis makes my head implode (no great loss, of course, but painful).

Being a die-hard ork player: Squabble; It\'s just incredibly funny and I just love all the details. This is one of those dioramas I can stare at for a very long time.
I was a Scout leader, this diorama is just Soooooo True!
