What is your one project you\'ve never undertaken?

I personally have had this idea for an Adeptus Arbites army for 40k, but its would be such a huge undertaking of conversion and sheer number of models, I have not had the werewithal to even consider starting it.

What is your project you keep putting off?

Actually I kind of have the reverse problem.......I get so many ideas and I REALLY want to do them ALL.....NOW that I have so many going at once that I get lost. Keeps me busy and inspired and frustrated. Finishing is a talent I\'m disciplining myself to improve. Take the inspiration I feel for \'another\' now thing and putting it into finishing something. Hopefully in the next month or so you will be seeing the fruits of this focus at Armorcast.

I\'m with Shawn on this one. Plus, I haven\'t really been painting long enough to have too many unfulfilled projects. There are lots of as-yet unbought minis, tho! lol

Why not a jousting scene? (those knight things are plastic, it would be really inexpensive to do)

I would like to see that (would like to try it too, but.....)

I want to do a big dragon. Have wanted to for quite a while. My chance is coming, though, as I was asked yesterday about doing one as a commission.

I have no idea what to charge for the job, though. I haven\'t seen the piece, yet, and didn\'t want to give a quote that would be unfair to either me or the (potential) customer.

I did one of those. Pictures are HERE. It was a lot of fun. I\'ll put decent pix on here when I get my new lighting setup.

That was definitely a great entry , AW; one of my favorites in the competition.

The one project that I want to do (and still haven\'t been able to really get started on) is the one that led to me getting into the miniature painting hobby: making the Rogue Encampment from the video game Diablo 2.

I\'m still learning about creating terrain and it would be a pretty good-sized piece. The main problem, though, is that I can\'t find any minis that would work for the NPCs in the Encampment. I think if I could locate them, then I might actually get my butt into gear. (Yeah, not a great excuse, but still...)

I have several but I think the biggest is a scene from a game I played years ago. It was of the 7 year brewing festival in a dwarven hall. Anyone who brewed beer came to the contest (in the game) and there were knife throwing challenges and all sorts of other games and everyone was drunk and it was great fun to play.

I\'ve been collecting people with beer wagons, steins, drinking horns, and falling down drunk for the last year. I think I have most of the minis but I still need tables and buildings and targets for arrow shooting and knife throwing and wrestling dwarves............all sorts of things. I\'ll get it done some day. Maybe.

One idea that I had a few months back is to take the new dark elf cold ones, add some harpy wings to them and make them be ridden by some dragon princes and thus making them like little baby dragons. Haven\'t started because of all I\'ll have to spend on them (about £55) and I still don\'t know what to do with the extra dark elf riders (maybe put them on the horses and make a conversion as if the HE horses were trying to shrug them off?)

that is a great scene amazon, and i like the damsel. the main reason i dont want to do jousting it has been done so many times , so i just thought about doing something a little different, i might do a joust i dont know. i have a couple of spare knights so i might do :)

Well, a project I\'d never thought I\'d finish was the Marthrangul dragon from Reaper. It had sat on my shelf for three years, until I started taking Vicodin for my back. I was so \"up\" from the pain and the meds that I finished it in three days of twelve hour days.

The only other project I don\'t think I\'ll ever get to is a dedicated cityfight table for warhammer 40k. Between a lack of storage space, money, and my wife\'s annoying (but correct) advice, I doubt I\'ll ever see it.

I have an Adeptus Arbites army. It\'s made up of forty or fifty of Necromunda Enforcer models as the arbitrators, some of the old Arbites models as the characters and cyber mastifs. The Enforcer squads use the rules for Inquisitorial Stormtroopers with carapace armour and shotguns, which is one of the options from the Inquisition books. The Judge uses Inquisitor Lord rules with several Arbitrators armed with powermails and supression shields (Crusader rules) as his entourage and finally the cybermastifs as arcoflagellants.

It\'s a nice little army but the only problem is it\'s still in the bags it came in as I haven\'t touched it at all...

The one thing I did want to do was a Lustrian themed Strigoi army made up of loads of Mordheim ghouls. They were going to be some degenerate tribe of canibals living on the Zombie coast, worshiping the Strigoi as unliving idols. I was going to give the vampires big tribal masks and use an Amazon priestess as a necromancer. Unfortunately I left GW before I could buy it all on staff discount so it never came to anything :(

I want to build a massive medieval city. Something like the village that theomar pious is working on, but on an even larger scale, complete with full city walls and royal keep. It\'s not that I haven\'t started on it, because I have, it\'s just that it\'s likely to take me the remainder of my life to complete. At some point after my kids are out of the house I\'d like to devote a room of the house to it complete with lighting and fiber optic stars and such. Think of the city model from the movie Beetleguise but set in the middle ages.

If I can figure a way to make some things realistically automated I\'ll do that too. You know, mills and such.

So that\'s my dream. Some people shoot for something useful. Not me folks. I want a room full of uselessness that\'s a joy to look at.
