Tea, either Darjheeling or Roobios without milk or sugar.
So its no big deal for me if the tea goes cold.
Not much of a one for eating while I paint.

Nothing at all.

Coming back to the hobby after a 15-year break has shown me QUITE clearly that my metabolism has slowed to the point where me sitting sitting quetly for hours on end while nibbling on treats and drinking various carbonated or alcoholic beverages invariably will lead to me getting enormously fat

i tend to have a massive cuppa, nothing special, just pg tips or something cheap. sweet, strong and milky. don\'t care if it goes cold

Makes two of us, so you\'re not alone!

Ditto.

Painting at home: A cold cup of coffee sat by me, I will drink it even if I\'ve cleaned my brush init! Drink alcohol and paint!!! Never, even if it is a bottle of 25 year old Oban! I don\'t paint and drink man! I paint then drink, my painting is so-so at the best of times. I usually eat once I start twitching from low blood sugar.

Having said all that, most (the MAJORITY) of my painting is done in my lunch hour at work, so I\'m usually fed and watered by the time I start. So crappy hospital canteen food and crappy coffee are the order of the day.

I never eat and generally don\'t drink when painting or sculpting as it\'s bad studio practice. If it\'s really cold and I feel the need for a hot drink, or really hot and I want something cold, it\'s just tea or iced water usually but on another desk behind the one I\'m working on.

I\'ll usually have a glass or two when I have a deadline to keep and do long sessions. It keeps me calm. But too much, and you start painting like a.... well like someone who\'s had too much to drink. :drunk:
Makes sense!

I never eat while painting (with wich hand? One is holding the mini, one is holding the brush) ;)
And usually I don\'t drink while painting neither. I tried it some times but either my coffee/tea gets cold or my beer/coke gets warm and stale. So I quit it. So after all I must say if I would paint more it would be a great diet! :D

I generalyy paint at night before sleeping, so I normally just have a glass of water set far away from my paint water.

If it\'s during the daylight hours, then either water or a soda.

I never eat at my workstation- too many ways to either ingest paint or get food on the minis.

Cranberry juice! Doesn\'t get mistaken for paint water because of it\'s color and I use a nice tall glass for it. I use artichoke jars for my water, so no confusion :) I\'m too engrossed other wise to eat anything... I do watch a lot of the original Star Trek episodes though...

Glass of water if I remember.
Tbh if I\'m left alone in the house and I\'m planning on painting I\'m unlikely to eat or drink at all during the day - as I will forget.

At Sunday painting sessions, I break to have food, and have a bottle of water nearby - that I often forget to drink from.

I blame concentration.:D

I\'m a tea guy myself, with sugar and milk. And it\'s usually done by the time it gets cold !

And I don\'t usually eat whilst painting, other than paint that is ;)

No food at all, but almost always a bottle of IBC root beer. It\'s a bottle, so I wont dip the brush in it, it\'s best at room temperature anyway, and no caffeine so fine late at night! Perfect! :D

here is a list of things i have eaten/drank when painting.

Carrots, slices of beetroot, bread rolls, a lot of tea, sausages and heaps of coffee as I am one of the blessed who\'s hands don\'t shake after :D

Generally small things that aren\'t messy to eat.
