Hiya,

I have just got me a light cube tent and tripod, but was wondering if anyone could reccomend some inexpensive and suitable lamps/ bulbs to use for the lighting.

Also any pointers on where the lamps should be placed would help a lot too.

Cheers,

Dave

Check out a link in Airhead\'s signature (search for a post of his). He\'s got a great tut on light tents.

As for bulbs: I\'d recommend 75+ watt daylight bulbs.

I currently have a 24\" dual daylight flourescent (not powerful enough) above, and two 150W daylight Reveal bulbs to either side, and a little forward.

What lights do you use to paint under? Change the lights and you will change the colors of the mini.

My personal favorite is an OTT light. Not cheap, but very good.

Our local Staples has started carrying a different brand of daylight bulb that are a LOT less than OTT.

For standard bulbs, I\'d go with HalogenA\'s as my first choice followed by Reveal bulbs last. Halogen A bulbs actually put out a whiter light. Reveal bulbs filter the yellow tint out of of the standard incandesent by a blue filter.

TS, thanks, but it is not my tut. Just a great one I found and it answers lots of questions.
