What liturgy color on Crimson Fist?

Hey guys, I\'m having trouble finding suitable color to paint the liturgy on Crimson Fist armor. I digged through my old WD, I only found liturgy white on Ultramarine; black on Imperial Fist/White Scar/Space Wolves... If I use white on Crimson Fist, it will turn out too bright. Advise please...

If I recall correctly, they aren\'t to big on liturgy (it\'s more an Imperial Fist/Black Templar thing). And from the few pics I\'ve seen, it\'s either engraved, or painted white.

Why do you say that? I think it would look fine. You don\'t have to use pure white from the jar/bottle, just knock it back a bit if you find the effect is too stark.

I try to use space wolves grey but its the same color for the armor highlight too. Vallejo Sky Grey seems too bright as well.

Why not try a mix of half GW Codex Gray and half white? If too bright then just mix in more gray if too dark more white.

No (although with the transparency of the paint we use that would happen naturally) knock it back = to tone down.

If you don\'t want to use any of the existing greys you have just use a dot of a light earth or skin colour and a dot of blue, to get a generic light greyish colour. I use this kind of thing regularly for a kind of \'dove grey\', for the whites of eyes for example.
