I don't think automated processes are strictly cheating, although one shouldn't take much credit for something done that way :cute:
These are done directly from photo references, although it's nearly all handwork (some use of Offset Path etc. for generating line weight, with manual tweaks after to vary stress, form sharp ends etc.)
