Lucky!

My newest is my favorite as i\'m still learning to paint...

Lucky

i did just about everything on this model. Sculpted it and painted it. First face i\'m happy with (paint wise, not sculpt wise... but it was a huge learning experience). Got the shading going, black lining and shadows painted. And it was a TRUE labor of love as it was a gift for a friend. Best yet from me.:)
OH... and the guns are NMM (first try for me) with the one on the left catching more shadow (because of the angle it\'s held at) and the one on the right getting hit more by the light sorce that\'s coming from the left.

Brushlicker and Freak!
My Nurgle terminator conversion.

My latest is rarely my favourite, because I quite often slack off the painting level to speed up the time it takes. However, I must say that everything I\'ve done recently has been pretty solid (7.5-8.5) and I\'m pretty happy with that. I\'m hoping my GD entries this year will get me closer to that elusive 9.

I\'m most proud of my scratch built skaven monster. Partly because I put it together from different bits n\' pieces and green stuff, and partly because I sold him for $31lol

Proud?

I\'m not. Every time I look at my minis, I feel shame for doing such a bad job and anger at ruining what are a considerable investment of money.

There hasnt been any real evolution in my painting skills since I moved to spray undercoat from some nameless brand of horrible brushed-on stuff. MY hand still shakes, my inks still come off looking excessive or faded and the less said about my drybrushing the better.

I\'d post pictures, but getting a 3.0 is never nice, not even when you deserve it. I stick with painting because I like the idea of wargames, not because I find it enjoyable in any aspect.

I must say I´m not always proud on my latest work, because I need to improve my skills, just a little on it, to be proud on.

Hmmmm....

I guess the latest would be your best, because hopefully you would like to think you have improved since your last one.

I do like my Eclipsante, but mainly because of the base rather than the figure! But I also love the wings on my Arial mainly because I suck at freehand and that is my best work that I did myself after doing loads of research in butterfly books :D

Blimey I feel really good after that! This is very theraputic (if only I could speeel it) I must pat myself on the back more often
