What - Reaper Swag Points?

I pobably exaggerated, the last time I counted I had over two hundred and that was about a year ago, and I\'ve purchased maybe another 200 since then, so it\'s more like 400-500. It\'s just too many to count. They keep talking about offering more/better swag over on the Reaper forums, so I\'m inclined to hold onto them a bit longer.

REAPER SWAG:
The T-shirts are OK, but they are all in WHITE! Do you have any idea what a corpulent man looks like in WHITE!? It\'s not a pretty sight. The only black one says CAV on it. CAV?! Does anyone actually play that? If I wore that I\'d have to spend half my time trying to explain what CAV meant to people, and I really don\'t even know! The hat with the Skull logo is kinda cool, but wearing hats makes you go bald, and the other hat SAYS CAV! The keychains look cheesy, and the book bag I have no use for. So that leaves the paint rack, and unless you own a shop, or plan on buying six (?) of every Reaper paint, WHAT PURPOSE DOES IT SERVE!? Grenadier used to make Swag work much better. If you bought all 12 dragons in a series you got a twenty (?) dollar coupon toward your next Grenadier purchase. Now thats customer appreciation, baby! If someone has 100 pts, that means they\'ve spent approx. 500-600 Dollars on Reaper minis. 100 pts should be worth at least a free model! How about 500 pts. = a special addition dragon? Now that would be some sweet swag.

You know, I love Reaper minis, and I certainly don\'t buy them for the swag points, and if they didn\'t have swag points I don\'t think anyone would care. But they do have swag points, so if they are going to go that far then they should at least offer customers who have spent in access of $1000 something more then the right to advertise for them for free.

Now I\'m hoping they read this, feel really bad, and send me a bunch of dragons. :D

...and if GW started offering free stuff I think we\'d all have a heart attack and die! lol

(I certainly couldn\'t bash my favorite company without throwing a little dig in at my least favorite) ;)

Just for the sake of accuracy: the non-CAV shirts in the picture might all be white, but the description reads:

Reaper, CAV, or Sophie designs.
Available in Black. Sizes: M, L, XL, XXL

So I\'m guessing you could get the others in black, if you so desired.

Hmmmm...

I\'ve noticed that, but I always assumed they meant they come in the colors shown.

The EXACT quote from my catalogue is -

T-shirt 40 pts

Reaper, CAV, or Sophie
WHITE or BLACK

Sizes: M, L, XL, XXL

I thought it meant it was 40pts weather you got black or white. Me thinks I must go unto the Reaper site forthwith. :D

Not sure how many swag point\'s I got right now, I think I lost a bunch. :( I agree though that it would be nice to see some cooler stuff available.

Just a thought, but say someone has 500 swag points give them a limited edition Sophie. Heck even charge $5 for shipping. They should be giving us some incentive to buying their mini\'s.

Ive just checked the weather reports and... yes.. thats right... there is absolutely no sign of hell freezing over :D

But based on the numbers I saw back on page one, I must have been given some kind of bonus points or something.

MT, I have 2 black sophie shirts and a black Reaper shirt. But I want one of Cerridwyn\'s tie-died Reaper shirts (she got 2 at GenCon...) If you are at GenCon or Origins, they also have empty paint bottles full of skull aggitators. (guess they really are not empty then?).

Do you have to get some notification from them about your points? I thought you could just collect the barcode portion of the blisters and send them in?

Zora, just put the appropriate amount in an envelope along with an order form and what you want, i.e.:

1 ea. Black Sophie T-Shirt, XL

enclose the appropriate shipping and wait a couple or 3 weeks.

I wonder if people who have to wear that crap for work (like GW staff) find it demeaning, or whether they feel like giants amongst men, whilst the rest of us look on and just think they\'re tits?!
