My missus and the kids have gone away for the weekend leaving me on my Jack Jones.
She bought me a nice steak which I\'m just grilling now with some mushrooms and garlic.

Mmm, haven\'t had steak in ages.
Steak, Superstars and a nice glass of Ardbeg whiskey.
Does it get any better?

What\'s anyone else having?

My better half is also on leave this weekend. I\'m having chicken breast tonight, for which I\'m planning on doing a mustard sauce with garlic, fresh herbs and olives.

Tomorrow I\'m going to make tuna fillets. I haven\'t decided yet how I\'m going to cook it, but it\'ll be great. :D

I\'m out of whiskey, though... :(

Spooky. Mine\'s been away since Thursday and yesterday I had Tuna Steak. :eek:

If I could send you some whiskey electronically my friend I would.

Today is a free day from my diet so I\'m going to have lamb chops and coconut shrimp with mashed potatos and a gooey dessert.


I\'ll probaby only eat about a fourth of it but that\'s what 18 year old boys are for. To eat the left overs. :D

depending on whether i can be bothered to cook or not its either going to be something followed by bramble crumble or nothing. i need to raid the cuboards and fridge

Hmmm. I think I did a bad decision.... I opened the wine before I started cooking the food. Now, the bottle is near empty and I still haven\'t eaten. :rolleyes: I guess I\'ll have chicken breast tomorrow then... :drunk:

Today for lunch the cafeteria here at work was in an odd mood and made pesto sauce and smoked salmon pizza with caramelized red onions and some cream cheese and creme fresh sauce drizzled across the top. It was amazing!! I know some folks give us Californians grief for putting weird stuff on pizza, but sometimes it works out GREAT. I also tried the new ginger beer (\"with extra ginger\") they got in and it was really good too. Tonight I\'ll probably go with a light dinner of Triscuts and kipper snacks with either brown mustard or spinach & artichoke dip.

I just had some southern style fried chicken from a little local take out place and a Mikes Hard Cranberry Lemonade.

Friday Night was was a classic:
Haddock Fish Fingers, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Pickled Beetroot and Chips. (French Fries to the Yanks)

Tonight I might splash out and have either a Donner Kebab Calzone, or Jacket potato, Tuna and grated Cheese.

Didn\'t have dinner tonight. I had McDonald\'s for lunch at about 2 or 3, and that\'s just been brewing something nasty. I didn\'t want to throw fuel on the fire, if you get my meaning lol

Hmmm, food, what to cook???
I have some wine on the rack so might have to open a bottle of that later today (it might help me write a CV that I have been putting off for the last 6 weeks) and if I\'m bothering with wine then I might just have to do myself a slap up :D
Starters: Home made roast tomato and garlic soup (there goes any friends I might have had)
Main course: Rump steak on a bed of haggis with new potatoes, brocolli and carrots with a whiskey sauce.
Desert: If I remember correctly I have some rocky roads ice cream in the freeze so if there is any room then that will do :D

Always room for ice cream :D :D

Fried egg butties was my treat, after watching the last warm-up by the Cardiff Blues before the league kicks off a week from today. Beer, rugby, beer then food. A great combo!

Tonight I\'ll b sticking a burger or two on the BBQ, applying mayonnaise and tabasco, shoved in a burger bun with a lump of salad and maybe some potato wedges
