Hey up I was looking through my new orc and Gobbo book and showed it to a few mates...It was interesting watching the different behaviours when they got the book...
some read rules some background some artwork others minis ...

I\'m firmly in the look for new minis then the showcases something of a shiny models syndrome for me...

but what is the frst thing you look at when you get a look at a copy of a new army or rules book....??

All the ovely shiny new pieces of metal that i will buy and never paint!
The backgrounds a nice read but im not to interested in it, and il only ever look at the rules and special items if i need to in a game or im preparing for a game.

Shiny models, then the artwork. Then the elaborate weaving together of various rationalizations to crreate a semi-credible reason to give my wife about why I should have them all! I tell you! GW laces the pages with crack.

For some reason I jump straight to the army list (rules section) even though I don\'t actually play the game, just buy the minis. That being said I played my first game of Warhammer in over 10 years the other night and I had a blast! I\'m hoping this is the edition that sucks me back in.

Seems to be heading in the model direction..No big surprise..

A similar poll on GW site a while back had the rules coming out top....:wow:

New mini\'s, followed by show case, artwork and background.

I rarely play these days and prefer to collect and occassionally paint :D

I can then use the books as reference materials :D

I always love the background. Though the miniature showcases are nice, though they are about a page worth...

I think Dragonsreach and Victoria got dwarfs in the new dwarf book. Grats!
