I think it comes down to this, either an army will be completely redone or they will bring out a battalion box at a pretty random time (High elves, Skaven) because those armies are years away from revision and i fully expect Dark Elves to go down this route, becuase Dark Elves are way too established in the Warhammer world for GW to even think of getting rid of them..

Great point.
I think (I THINK) GW are trying to make way for a lot more Plastic models instead of Metals. A lot of the 2nd Edition and even 3rd Edition models are metal, even the \'Core\' or \'Troop\' choices.
That is one reason why armies like O&G, The Empire and Dark Elves are most probably going to be the next armies to be \'revised\' and \'restored\' :)

I just wish they\'d stop spending so much time on Lord of the rings and stop filling white dwarf up with that crap. Last one i got had no battle report for whfb or 40k, and it used to always have one for each. I basically don\'t read a 3rd of the magazine because I don\'t like the LOR line at all with the exception of the trolls, but yet GW seems to be spending all its time and resources on it.

At my local store runs the rumor about orks and goblins

The arguments are basically linked to the dwarves and some suspect rumors about the 7th (6.1) edition of WH fantasy starter being based on the fall of karak eight peaks so basically dwarves Vs orks (or alternatively a summer campaign like Lustria with more new models for both armies).

However it would make sense to remake armies that weren\'t redone frome the 5th ed. like Dogs of war, chaos dwarves, HE and DE, but I\'ve got the feeling GW is pointing more on the creation of completely new armies form the east lately (one, two armies remade, then a brand new one, so they can sell a lot of new stuff...).

Just rumors anyway, time will tell us.
