What size drill bits would you want?

I am looking at getting a set of small bits, 10 each in 5 sizes (small bits break - often).

I want:
#76 (0.019\") = standard staple
#66 (0.033\") = standard paper clip
#58 (0.045\") = K&S brass rod.
#55 (0.052\") = large paper clip

I can need 1 more size and if it sells, he will offer a \"Modeler\'s pack\". So speak up - let me know what sizes you would want in a drill set.

Well My favorite size drill bit is the #66 or .033 which is slightly larger thans the .032 KS brass rod I use for pinning.

My next size is .045 its for the next larger size of K&S brass rod.

I buy both of these sizes by the dozen.

Drill bit tip.. use a little candel or bees wax to lubricate your drill bits and they will cut faster and stay sharp longer.

Nice tip thanks.

I\'d be interested in the 58, 66 and 76 as well. What kind of price are we talking about?

Those are great sizes you got there Kevin. What\'s the cost of them? I actually need to get some bits as I just broke my 2 favorite ones.

Great tip btw Dragon Forge. I will use it next time I am pinning.

ebay seller is named ONE-PASSircuit-Store

sells packs of 50 cnc resized/resharpened bits for about $25. He used to sell a set up your own box (50 bits - any size you want) but no longer does. I am trying to get him to set up a 5 size box that fits our needs. I have 2 I like, DFD gave me another, and am still looking for the remaining two bit sizes.

You\'re going to get WiccanPony all in a fluster again lollol

@Airhead - Those three sound like the ones I\'d most likely use, too. I\'m at work now, but I\'ll check when I get back home to be sure, but those sound about right.

Your tip got me in trouble with the wife. She wanted to know why there were tiny holes in her good candle. I didn\'t know candles could be considered good or bad. It\'s not like I drilling holes in a brand new one, this one had already been burned at least once. Anyway within a few minutes of it being lit again you\'d never know the difference.

I\'ll just have to be more careful and cover my tracks better because I could definitely tell a difference when drilling with a waxed bit.
