News reportage, I won\'t call it journalism, is no longer about informing the populationin an objective manner, but about fearmongering in order to get people to watch their programs so the sponsors and shareholders are satisfied. It has no more to do with fact than any other scheme to sell any crap product. The only news I trust these days is either from Comedy Central, whose motto seems to be \"tell the truth and run like Hell\", and the Christian Science Monitor, which reports very objectively, which I believe is because their religious doctrine denies material reality.
Those who are in control, corporate leaders and government officials, foster this paranoia because if we were not afraid of something, then they would not be needed to lead us.
