What would we LOVE to see in a minitures line?

I always thought it would be nice to see a game and miniature line based off the \"Redwall\" series of books by Brian Jacques - although that might be due to my childhood fascination with them.

Doesn\'t GW already make that line - Skaven anybody? lol

I\'d love some decently sculpted 30 mm Star Wars figures. West End Games made a line of crappily sculpted 15 mm Star Wars minis and Wizards of the coast makes the pre-painted hero clix style ones, but neither of those float my boat. And minis from the sci-fi classic \"V\" would also be cool.

I\'d also like a new Battletech line where the infantry guys are 30mm and the Battlemechs are to scale with that. A couple of 120mm tall battlemechs would be cool :)

Yes Mr. Rushworth. I had forgotten about \"V\" with that dude from Beastmaster. what\'s better than lizards with baseball caps?

Yep, thanks Mike :)

That\'s a good shout. Not all brilliant but then that\'s the way with every range. Any idea who sculpts the pieces? They look familiar somehow.

Rev, I get the feeling that they are related to Mark Copplestone in some way. Several of the EM4 sculpts are actually identicle. I am not sure of the arrangement beteween the two.

Wouldnt a 28mm scale Sandworm take up the size of a small house?!?

I too demand a Fallout miniature line!
Or perhaps Elder Scrolls.

id like to see some really great lizardmen minis. i dont dig the look of the big crest guys that gw makes. i want fast and dynamic lm, like the scratchbuilt one that was posted here a while ago. speaking of star wars minis, i bought these great \"fine pewter\" 54mm SW minis i found the other day. one is obi wan and one is watto; i was going to give them away for ME#8 but angus asked for some privateer press stuff. anyone interested?

In general though in any of the existing lines I would like to see a bit more overall consistency within a range ..It seems every line of minis out there has a few amazing pieces (ones used for all sneak peak publicity) Then a couple of OK and then the Oh shit the deadlines tomorrow .. finish the end of the project..

I would have to say this: schoolyard fight. Bullies. Basically the hulk. Techies would be like guys with guns and stuff. Book worms would be like gaurdsmen or orks basically, shields for better units. Goths would be like sorcerers that summon demons. The quiet kids, ninjas!. The popular kids would be just normal, except some guns thrown on. Teachers would be commanders. try to think of some more, I\'m stuck.

I am actually surprised there isn\'t a kick arse Marvel superhero range about (if there is, sorry and where can I buy and paint the x-men!)

With so many different powers there would be lots of rules but hell, it would be worth it, especially if it ran as a story based game to make it feel like a comic, yeah! like inquisitor and with the same scale models too!!!

Someone buy the license and make it NOW!!!!

An A- team game would be cool also, although they would need to have a poorer ballistic skill than an ork to make it realistic, but who could resist a Mr- T mini (I\'m off now to convert a 4-man kill team....)

MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEME!!!!!!

Ahem

I\'ll be willing to take the Obi Wan off your hands if you want to trade for something.

Also you cant go wrong with zombies. Everyone loves the walking undead. Or perhaps wierd ghosts like in the Fatal Frame games?

Edit: Or, after watching the trailer for Tiberium Wars, how about Command and Conquer?

Hey MIKE when due you have time to work it would take me days to find the kinda S^&% you post on here for us and believe me every bit of it well appreciated by all of us out here sooner or later? DD:bouncy:::cool::cool:

Instead of cranking out new characters all the time, I\'d like to see the SAME character in a multitude of poses, with different weaponry, riding a horse, in winter garb, etc. etc.

Plus I would love to see more \'accessories\' for base embellishment. Sculpted things that you could add to a base or diorama to add a bit of realism, whether its just a soda can, or a water bucket...Just real life in scale items.

I\'d love to see a new line of Cthulhu inspired miniatures. There are some around, but they are showing their age, and they are hard to come by.

What you say to minis that are customizable \"on the fly\" where you literality have the SAME character but the model can change out armor and weaponry without the use of glue or green stuff? I\'d say the scale on the small side around 28mm and Inquisitor scale on the large side...:D

heh, ill post some pics of the models. i have to say though that they seem to be fantastic. ill gladly give up obi wan, and i wouldnt mind painting up watto, he is one of my favorite minor SW characters. frankly i cant think of anyone better to paint mr. wan up than you.

are there any really solid 28mm pirate lines? a few companies make them here and there, but thats all ive found.

all in all i find there to be a defficiency of well done dnd type monster minis. id like to see some of the more unusual beasts in pewter form.
