If I was going to seriously go \'born again\' like that I wouldn\'t use a picture from the latest hollywood blockbuster :D

Yeah, thought that too. But it\'s so hard to get a photo of the real Jesus these days that I guess it\'s okay to use a double.

Whatever floats your particular boat...

I think I will pass however, because personally, I would rather have red-hot pokers shoved up my arse than spent eternity with Mel Gibson:D

Tammy- Contemporary Judeo-christian theology teaches that hell is ultimately eternal separation from God and everyone else. Solitary confinement. No visitng hours.

The good news is that hell didn\'t originally exist in judaism until they came into contact with zoroastrianism in Babylon and \"borrowed\" the concept.

And caffeine isn\'t usually a problem. Unless you\'re mormon.

But ingetting back on topic, personally I\'m glad we won\'t be seeing any more \"augmentations.\" They did nothing but reinforce the stereotypes of socially retarded gamers.

Hey Axebone,

If you\'re reading this could you ask Jesus to shut down that other thread. I think we need divine intervention to kill it.

I\'m not going to play the religously sensitive guy. Because I am not that kind of person.

I personal dispise when people \"find\" god and lose themselves.

If he\'s found something that gives him comfort and makes him happy, then good luck and kind wishes to the guy.

I believe that, also in regards to the \'other\' thread...each to their own, and their ideas....as long as you don\'t bother anybody with it, I don\'t care what people do in their lives, if it makes them happy...fine.

I completely agree.

For those of you looking for Axebone... he does not exist any longer.

Crap, they got another one.:D

Yeah, I think it\'s a bit of a shame if he\'s actually given up a fun, harmless hobby for a god. I mean, I\'m sure Jesus and his father are nice enough fellows, and I\'m sure Jesus doesn\'t want anybody suffering for him.....:)

I say we should all convert to Zeus and his fun-loving band of gods! Who doesn\'t wanna worship a god of wine.

I vote we all worship Joe Pesci. ;)

As for Axebone...perhaps the kvetching about the endowments on his models drove him to look for a new distraction in life? :)

Personally I\'m kind of sadened that axebone has left us. I\'ve always thought that what a god would want, at least from me, is a fellow creator, not a zealot, but the prodical son if you will. One who has lived life and brought new life and betterment into the world. This can even be brought into most religions, but then again as my freind Matt would say, \'You can make generalizations all you like, but there will always be one blue skinned, atheist, boat-living, hermaphrodite, part human that\'ll escape your grasp.\'

You know, I\'ll bet this is all linked to that damn Jeebus movie that was released recently. You know, that one that Braveheart directed?

Oh right, it was \"Passion of the Christ\"

\"Jesus horses\" :)

Funny you should pick Zeus. One of the ancient wonders of the world, while no longer around was the temple of Zeus. What did remain were drawings of the temple and the statue of Zeus himself. Which the face of the traditional Christ on the cross bares an uncanny resemblence too.

History lesson over.;)

Yeah, and orignally Jesus was portrayed as a younger man full of life without a beard, which some attribute to Apollo (only god the same in Greek and Roman, so I know I didn\'t get it wrong :p ). If you ever saw pics of the Emperor before he had to sit on the Golden Toliet, that\'s kinda what it\'s like.

I just saw a program on the Discovery channel that acusses Di Vinci with making the shroud of Turin, because certain facial features look the same and he was a crazy techno-artist whacko.... But whatever, back to the discussion of the Big Breastses Conversion Person... :p

\"the statue of Zeus himself. Which the face of the traditional Christ on the cross bares an uncanny resemblence too.\"

Not uncommon. Many artists project their cultural biases onto their subjects. Artists in the middle ages painted biblical figures in contemporary rather than historical garb. Look at the western image of Jesus that currently exists. He\'s portrayed as a blue-eyed caucasion with long flowing brown hair rather than the olive skinned, wirey haired, semetic desert dweller that he was or would have been.

It\'s always been a somewhat contencious issue with me that the figure of Christ is always depicted as thin and acsthetic. The guy was a carpenter and has to work with hand tools for pity\'s sakes. At the very least he\'d have strong corded muscles from using them.
