I was pretty bored so I just wondered what everyone else is reading, at the moment I'm in the middle of:
Guards Guards by Pratchet (for about the 5th time)
Soulless by Gail Carragier
Bite Marks by Jennifer Rardin
and
You suck by christopher Moore.

How about everyone else?

I read the "Quintaglios Saga" by Robert Sawyer. The first book I liked, the next two... meh. Re-read "Hammer of the Gods" last week and in desperation I have been going through my old comics and reading some of the better stuff. Man, "Dark Knight Returns" is still awesome. What the hell happened to Frank Miller? There was a time I would have drank the kool-aid willingly with my new sneakers if he had but asked, but now.... damn.

I have nothing in the house I haven't read. I would go get something but Christmas is just a couple blocks away. I don't worry about buying something that is on a gift list or anything, I just can't go shopping for myself at a bookstore this close to Christmas. I can sneak a pile of mini's in the house no problem, the wife would never know. But as soon as she sees me cracking a new book the jig is up. But... I have a bunch of credit at the used bookstore still. She'll never know I am not re-reading an old book! GENIUS! I'll do that tomorrow. Any reccomendations? I like a lot of the 50's-70's sci fi.

Mmm, I liked that one.

I'm reading the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft right now. I find the man's personal views to be the antithesis of my own, but, despite the fact that his fiction showcases those beliefs, I still love reading it.

Just started on Cybermage. About magic brought into the digital age. Sad to say, doesn't look very promising.

I read the "Quintaglios Saga" by Robert Sawyer. .
So you must have the rare unsigned copies.
Robert Sawyer frequents our shop and alway signs every copy we have. He does that at every shop he enters. Nice guy to talk to, So is Ed Greenwood, very down to earth.

I'm reading "The Kindly Ones" by Jonathan Littell. I haven't gotten very far yet... p 85 out of about 900 pages. But, it seems really promising. The writer has done a tremendous research for it. Anyone remotely interested in WWII should read this.

Just started: "The Dwarves" by Markus Heitz, javascript:doAuthorSearch('"Markus Heitz"');Finding it a bit hard going.
But just finished "Spirit" By Gwynneth Jones.
Been having a conversation with the Author about it as it's a re-visitation of "The Count of Monte Cristo" one of my
favourite classics.

However Listening to (Audio books) Jane Eyre when working in the server rooms as it helps to kill off the "white noise" of the air-conditioning that seems to make my tinnitus worse.

Am reading 'Stranger in a Strange Land' by Robert Heinlein at the mo.

Finished 'Londonistan' by Melanie Phillips the other week. Some interesting stuff in it, but marred by a whole bunch of right wing drivel.
