A book called Stupid American History. I figured he needed some ammunition against us while he was here. I kind of created a monster though. He quotes from it every night to show just how silly having seperated ourselve from the British Empire really was. I can't seem to convince him that the English have got to have as many silly bits in their history as we do. probably more having been around far longer.

Your welcome. "A Christmas Carol" is a quick read but frustratingly full of plot holes. Not his best work but still fun this time a year.

Well that is because he's British. That is just the way They think.

Michael Moorcock's Elric books. I tend to read them once a year really - or at least when I get the mood on for some really cracking fantasy.

Basically, Moorcock's pretty much the greatest author ever in my eyes. Love his stuff to bits :)

I am reading Pride and Predjudice and Zombies. Then I will read Tales of Heresy and Fallen Angels.

Awesome! I just got my Sister-in-Law Jane Austen and Sea Monsters (I think that's the title...same series, anyways) and I can't wait to see what she think of it. It'll either be an instant hit, or next time I see her I'm going to get hit.

Got fed up with Clarkson so I'm now reading:
Creating Life Like Figures in Polymer Clay by Katherine Dewey, to get me in the mood for Squigies Sculpt-a-long :D

Not reading anything at the moment but the last one I read was Armed Action. About a Royal Marines Commando lynx attack helicopter squadron during the second gulf war. Tells you a great deal about the real fighting the Royal marines did which was never broadcast, for example they landed on the Iraqi beach in helicopters a week or so before the armoured brigades. Cool stuff.

Picked up a classic today - The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire.

Figure I'll read it alongside of Herodotus.

look i know its sad....but the book is decent if you skip 100 pages of talking about edwards sexiness. im also reading the entire sandman series online right now, so i managed to redeem myself a little i think.
