Which do you prefer??

I must say that i 100% say SHOWER. I must explain why first of all. In the last few months many thing have prevented me from takin a shower and i have had to make do with a bath instead..

breaking my foot,
having a new bathroom done,
not having a wall to attach a shower too.

Finally after many month of waiting i had a shower, in our near finished bathroom, with our new, multi setting shower, which works well and does not choose to go icy cold every five minutes. I have decided, that yes, the shower is the choice of the gods...

But what do YOU think??

Our shower hasn\'t worked since last summer (lousy landlord...gripe) and I really miss it, especially when I wake up late and have to run the bath!
Although I like baths too - we just used to not have them often to be more environmentally friendly.

Well I guess on a daily basis a shower is better, faster more refreshing and energizing.

But I couldn\'t live without a good bath from time to time. Coming back from skiing, or after a long tiring day, a good warm bath is the most relaxing thing in the world.

I vote bath, because a bath always feels great, shower is more mundane :p

it depends. 99.5% of the time i would say shower. it uses less water, is quicker, kneads tired muscles and you aren\'t stewing in your own filth.

buuuuuuut there are some times when only a bath will do. like when you are ill or freezing and just wanna soak

When in Spain it was three or four showers a day. We did have a bath there but it had no plug so I made one by jammin loads of toilet paper in the hole then stuffing one of Laura\'s shampoo bottle tops in.
Started running the bath and the hot water ran out halfway through, so it ended up fecking freezing.

Peace and love...

Shower!

Baths are for sucka\'s!

Lived in a house with a cast iron tub and no shower possible (Really, really small house!) for four years. It KILLED me.

Shower is more practical, but once in a while if you\'re tired, stressed, sick or have some aching muscles then a hot bath can be super-relaxing.

you can\'t piss whilst having a bath (okay you can if your a dirty barsteward,) ultimate officiency lol

But it\'s harder to drink beer while showering. That was one advantage of my crappy no shower access years. Course then there\'s the whole having to piss and being in the tub thing....

Had to go with bath -

Right now I only get to sit in the tub and soak every six months or so - and the showers here were designed for skinny midgets.

Showers win 99.9% of the time for me. I have a bath in my flat and I\'ve used it once in over a year of living there. Baths can be good for relaxing in, but a shower invigorates and makes me feel refreshed much more than a bath does, even if I\'m knackered. Baths go cold, too, and you are effectively sitting around in your own dirt after a while (which is why the Japanese shower thoroughly before climbing into a bath-full of clean, piping hot water).

Pretty much sums it up for me. Like the refreshing aspect of a shower but every now and again the relaxing aspect of a bath...

Shower by preference.
Our bathtub is too small to be comfortable for anything other than a scrub, or an careful \"assisted\" scrub for Fran after an operation.

Usually its a shower, but a hot bath is nice from time to time after I get back from the gym and need a good relaxing soak!
