Whats more Salamandery?

hi all
ive allready started planning and this tottaly unrelated thought came to mind. whats more salamander-like; an aztec style style squared based stepped pyramid in a jungle supposedly on Nocturne or a lava rock. i personnly prefer the pyramid

if i am correct salamanders are based around reptiles lizards etc. so scales would be cool flames because of there home world is ment to be very hot if i am correct hense the jet black skin and many lava bases. so do something that resembles heat lava etc,

this chapter sounds perfect for bill


it might be helpful if you read the background in the codex or on the gw site if its still there ???

Salamanders are all about fire, as sam said they have jet black skin and their home world was basically a big ball of molten rock. Vulkan their primarch was known for his forging/smithing abilities. And the salamanders use flamers/meltas primarily (in the fluff) doesnt mean you have to use them but it adds to the characters. Also a lot of their iconography is flames and scales.

Maybe speak to jah as he is a sallies fan, or vincenti as he is doing a vulkan hestan piece

i have, im doing free hand flames with rearing dragons and sculpted scales, its just everyone does slamdaners on lva bases, so i might do an aztec pyramid surronded by lava, but i did a low quality lkava base this year, still i might try to better it:twisted:
