Whats on top of your monitor?

Flat Screen

I have a flat screen with no room on top of it. You people should all go flat screen, they last longer making them cheaper in the long run, and the fact that the images aren\'t distorted will add to your enjoyment of the art on this site.:)

I have a flat screen so nothing goes on top of it and I prefer to keep any painted work in Glass cabinets.

At work I also use a flat screen in the workshop/office but being on a ship makes putting anything on top of a monitor impracticable.

A plush baby catbus that my friend got me in Japan. It\'s official Ghibli and everything! And no, I\'m not an anime nut. I just like the catbus.

I too have an \"iridescent beanie monitor lizard\". Also a couple of HeroClix - the Hulk and Harley Quinn (the latter slightly chewed by cats :()

On Top of my Monitor only stands a Cerberus form FinalFantasy XIII (from the FF Creatures Series). My Minis all stand in a Cuppoard.

Sorry, but I\'m still a little annoyed about the whole computer thing...I gave one to my kids and wife for Xmas, then mine went kaput the same day they got theirs.

So my wife nicely bought one for me, but we were JUST shy of being able to get the flat screen. Grrrr...:flame:

At work, I have 2 painted (by others) Female Commissars along with 2 HeroClix: Spidey and HarleyQuinn. With Underdog directly in the middle. (Tells you how I feel at work, huh?)

At home, I have 2 more HeroClix: Spidey Promo and Batman Promo facing off against each other.

If I could figure out how to post pics, I\'d show you.

Need to be more techno-savvy...

On top of my monitor is...

Abby, my tortise shell cat!! In her opinion, monitors are kind of heated cat beds that provide entertainment ( someday she might catch that darn mouse that darts across the screen!) lol

Well I run two monitors.. a 21 inch viewsonic anda 15 inch flat panel..Oh how I do love my dual head vid card.:D

As for whats on them.. the 21 in has a 1/2 size human skull. Anekked Amazon mini, a Hamster mnini wearing armor that Sandy Garrity sculpted, a Foundry Ork a dead video camera (cant get the dam drivers to work..Gerrrrr!) and 3 Attackof the clones star wars battle droids sitting there looking at me.And last but least a Skelehomie from Creepyfreeks! On top of the flat pannel..yes YOU can get stuff to sit up there.. OK so I stick things down with green stuff:p But basicly is a bunch of Ral Partha old TSR minis. Above it all on a shelf I have about 30 items that need painting..DVDs, CDs and GI Joes.. Yup lots of crap LOL

Aaaaaaaah, they are now three of us :eek: Looks like chrispy is becoming an idole, soon the forum will be over run by countless reprosuction of chrispy :p Luckily I still have my french accent to distinguish me from the masses :D :innocent:

And you\'re french spelling! I\'d become an idole too if I didn\'t want to just become a reprosuction of everyone else. :p Nah, it\'s no worse than mine, and I\'m American educated... private American educated lol

My monitors, both work and home, have very similar things attached to them. Home has a picture of my sons, a friend of mine & her son, and a picture of me in my father\'s race car when I was about 2.
Work has a different picture of my sons, a different picture of my friend & her son, and a picture of my parents, my sister and I when I was about 5.

I don\'t keep things on top of my monitors because I adjust their angles to frequently and everything spills off.

Work Monitor

I don\'t have anything on my home monitor. The cats like \"visiting\" my computer desk too much.

Once upon a time, I put a silver dragon and a squad (ten in all) of kobolds on my monior.

One day, I came in and it looked like a bomb had hit. Or maybe someone just smacked the top of my monitor for spite. Only a few of the Kobolds were still on top of the monitor. The rest were either on my desk or disappeared forever. I lost five Kobolds that day, and I\'ve never put another mini on my monior.

So now I have a clock, a yo-yo, a picture of my son, Gumby, a puzzel cube and a squishy ball. Oh, and a mirror that looks over my shoulder in case the boss tries to sneak up on me. :D

When I read Cerridwyn\'s post I thought exactly the samething Dauber! We obviously have the same silly sense of humour :D

I did have a really spanky TFT monitor, with built in TV adapter...but it went phut just before christmas *sob* and I haven\'t had it fixed yet (that\'s hoping it can be fixed :eek: )

So.....I now have a humungous 17\" CRT :mad: :mad: and I hate it. Nothing is on top \'cos I\'m too mad at it to put anything up there...... :flame:
