Mike, there\'s only twenty of them. You need any help?
Nah. Thanks for the offer Kevin.
I had more scouts in my troop than that, shouldn\'t be a problem.
Young and Enthusiastic versus Old, Evil Twisted and Cunning.:twisted:

Tut tut now Mike, you should know I do evil, twisted and cunning better then anyone... You still have the high ground on the old though :p

Any particular time this \"incident\" will be happening, its always fun to watch a pensioner fighting ankle biters with his zimmer ;)

He is a nut job. I still love the way that a link to Philippe\'s (or Phillipe\'s, I always get that one wrong) popped up and it was at least 10 times better. Quite brilliant!

Yep
My \"Wonderful Insight\" in all this is that the most memorable threads all seem to have a common denominator -

reverend

And no that is not a criticism.
In fact I\'ve come to regard Phil (reverend) as the the voice of sanity, or sometimes the sharp pin that is needed to deflate overinflated ego\'s. :D
Phil put that needle down! OW!:eek::eek: lol

Isn\'t it strange how time mollifies our perception of the arguments that went on here with BME, RLowinski and Alex Castro into humerous occasions, when during the debates things were less than cordial.

Not a post or a thread, but this PM from Phil made me laugh :D

\"19th May 2006

I\'ll be straight up front with this; are you really 13yrs old? Serious question. If you are, fair play - very intelligent indeed. It\'s just that certain things (and your little sideline with Mistamick) have made me think \'hang on a minute...\' So, for once and once only, are you 13yrs old? I\'ve backed you up and I\'ll keep my lips sealed if you are a prankster. Anything that livens the old gaff up is worthy of furtherment! Be honest now! Phil\"

Teeeheehee lol

Yeah Reverend definitely has the right cut-right-through-the-bullshit attitude for both laughs and rude awakenings... ;)

The time I laughed the most I think was actually some of Lonos first posts. this helmet thread was great...

Yeah and Bills and MistaMicks bickering was incredibly fun as well.

I miss Alexi Z here on the forums as well... She always brought something fun into the threads.

Ah, Tony Manero... that was a character. I remember when he pulled his minis from the galleries, then came back and re-posted most of his stuff. Then some glitch on the server wiped out his gallery and he made a big fuss over it here (which, is understandable really...). Borg and Chern helped him out (apparently with quite an effort involved) and a few days later he pulls his gallery again because he\'s ticked off by the voting. lol

I feel humbled. :~( I thought I was viewed mostly as a bit of a pain in the arse who occasionally made some worthwhile comment or other. Actually hearing nice stuff said about me is pretty weird! My bond with this place has doubled in a matter of days. Thanks for making this bearded fool a happy man

Oddly the same has happened to me. I\'ve mostly been lurking recently, and I\'d forgotten what a great place the forums really are. I even did some painting today :)

I thought you\'d been quiet Bill. Anything in the pipeline?

no, he\'s on holiday at the moment.
it should be a week or two till the teachers get to him again lol

I\'m not, I went back to school at 11am on Thursday :( Probably won\'t be any time for painting during the next few months. Apart from the other subjects, I have my maths GCSE in November and I\'m supposed to be getting A*. I\'m currently on a high B. And my French AS teacher has realised that we actually need to work, since last year\'s class massively underachieved. Sigh.

just work your nuts off mate, painting will always be their for you, so it\'s no loss if you get very little of it done for a couple of years.
i make sure my guitar students put their academic studies first, which does mean they don\'t improve on guitar any near as much as i want them to, but all of them, always do very well in their exams as they spend the time concentrating on academic studies first.

your a bloody bright kid mate, put the work in where it\'s needed and you will go far as an academic.

Yeah Bill get your finger out :p

I sent him some Kislevites ages ago that he promised to paint for GD but we haven\'t seen hide nor hair of them have we:twisted:

Seriously though I hope you do well in your exams.
