What's wrong with Vehicle Votes?

Hi.
I lately realised that people tend to vote huge things way better than small minis, even if the paintjob is way worse or includes just a random method of weathering.
I've seen titans or big tanks with a vote of 8-9 which on a mini would be a 6 in best case. That's kinda sick compared to those titans and big vehicles that really deserve the voting of 8-9.
Can anybody explain why that's happening?
And how do you judge the paintjob of large vehicle?

well... vehicles and other 'huge thing' aint really my cup of tea so i usually dont vote that stuff. only when i see something really good.

What are you basing this observation on?

Because the top last 7 days includes a lot of vehicles from the French Golden Deamon.

I'm not talking about the Golden Demon models lately, those really aren't something easy going. Although I dislike the "extreme weathering"-hype that's going on, the efford and details on these models are amazing.
No, I'm talking about big vehicles in general (Landrider/Baneblade and growing) over the past months (doesn't mean the models got completed in the last month, but I saw them during my daily voting session and realized that my opinion about the painting is like 1.5 points lower in avarage on these than what the other people voted. I see them as a 6 or 7 and they got 7.5 to 8.5 scores. I only posted randomly about it today, because I got nothing to do.
I could link some models here, but I don't wanna blame some painter personally and I think it won't be fair.

Scores aren't just about the paintwork, as pointed out in many threads; it's CMON, not CoolPaintjobOrNot. On votes for vehicles specifically though, maybe because the bulk of people who vote don't do them so they have a higher wow factor for the majority?

Vehicles take (generally) more effort to complete. Also, you get to show off a lot of different weathering techniques that you wouldn't see otherwise. People also tend to rate up things that they themselve have difficulty doing. Those that might be amazing at creating flesh tones but sucks with NMM will probably acknowledge the skill another put into NMM. Because they may be better at Flesh tones they may mark down anyone who doesn't have a superb technique. There may just be more "soldier" experts and not as many vehicle experts. Or I could be completely ape-shit mental.

But to be honest...It's all in the title of the page. Cool Mini or Not. It's completely up to the viewer what's cool. If on a whole people think vehicles are cooler than individual soldiers, well you'll see that reflected in the score.

It's a highly subjective issue, what one person considers to be an 8 or 9 other think 7-8.

After trawling through 50 pages of the minis today I've only seen one really high scoring vehicle (A titan) I'd score slightly lower than the current scoring.
But that is just my opinion others may well think it's worth more.
