Whats your christmas/ holiday film?

As we get closer to C-day, I was wondering which film you peeps like to watch when the mince pies have got too much and you can barely roll off the sofa Or maybe which film gets you into the holiday spirit.

My choice is Tim Burton\'s Nightmare before Christmas. I always watch it on christmas eve evening, and that sets the christmas thing for me

Well, it\'s not very festive...

..but I have been saving up LOTR, The Two Towers, special 4 disc edition. That should safely see me through to Boxing Day

Well, my all time rav fav Christmas Movie is \"A Christmas Story \" - Oh god the Bumpus Hounds and the turkey.

Gladiator, LOTR:FOTR, LOTR:TTT, House of a Thousand Corpses, Thirteen Ghosts (what I call \"A Chritmas Carol\"+10), or if i\'m really in the spirit Monty Python movies/episodes. If I seem a bit depraved feel free to say so.

I\'m timing how long it takes for some Brit to come along and mention either a James Bond or Star Wars film, cos there is usually one or the other on in the early evening on xmas day.

Otherwise Tim Burton\'s Nightmare is pretty nice too.

Otherwise I don\'t remember any other Christmas movie which is worth seing...

How yeah, isn\'t there a movie with Arnold Schwarznegger with a toy or something ??

Tim Burton!

Both Edward Scissor Hands and the Nightmare Before Christmas both usualy go down well. Nightmare especialy, as it serves as an inspiration to my stopmotion lego film madness! Oh, and anything Monty Python of course!

I\'m a bit of an old film fan, and my wife and I watch White Christmas every Christmas Eve. It\'s sweet and sappy, somehow it just fits. Danny Kaye and B B B B Bing make in memorable.

Well, my sappy side always goes for \"It\'s a Wonderful Life\" or \"A Charlie Brown Christmas\", but there ain\'t nothing wrong with Tim Burton either

When I saw this post I was thinking in terms of X-mas movies.
That being said My top two are:
National Lampoons X-mas Vacation if I need to explain this then you just don\'t know.
Another recent Holiday Favorite is \"The Ref\" It is about a burgler who kidnaps a disfuntional family durring the holidays. it is not a family movie, but hey it has Kevin Spacy and Denis Leary in it. One of the best lines out of the movie is \"mother, do you know what I am gonna get you next x-mas, a big wooden cross , so every time you feel unapreciated you can climb up and nail your slef to it!\"

James saves the world (again) through deft use of his special powers which consist of sh*gging, drinking, gambling, sh*gging and fighting dirty. Mustn\'t forget the intellectually challenged criminals who will undoubtedly succeed in capturing him, but then tie him up with pipe cleaners and put him in a faulty cell right next to their arsenal/nuclear stockpile etc. Can\'t wait

Good grief, as if it isn\'t bad enough that Scotsmen (Connery), Irishmen (Brosnan) and Australians (Lazenby) all get off in playing the English James Bond we now have a damn yank (Sorry damn yanks) ripping the p*ss out of him. It\'s hardly cricket, don\'t you know.

Okay, so it\'s Rudolph the original puppet stop-motion version. I saw it the first time it was shown on TV when I was a kid, and I still like it. good memories.
